Bring back "New episodes"

You removed New Episodes from our home library and said it would be under Podcasts, but it's not. Now I have to go through every single podcast to find the new episodes.

As already has been pointed out, you have worsened the accessibility and user experience regarding podcasts.You have linked the list of podcasts directly to home page with much lessened functionality. 1) The excellent function of episodes you have partially listened to in a separate category is gone. Please bring it back!! 2) Now you have first to select general podcasts (with irrelevant suggestions) and then select "podcast you follow". Why two steps instead of one? Make followed podcasts tab directly accessible in one step from home page. 3) Episodes you have listened to do not disappear from the list, nor can they be removed (!) but remain with "status completed". Gives a much lessened overview with more redundant posts to scroll through and a greater risk of missing things you really want to listen to. You claim to get your impulses from test groups, but what users want to fix a machine that works and make it worse? Incomprehensible.

If you need someone to test out these changes and give you actual honest truth about the user experience, hit me up. Because a lot of these recent changes just feel like someone is either playing a prank on us or no one is testing them out to see if it makes the experience more seamless or more cumbersome

I've just received the price increase announcement for July. With the removal of the new episodes function, which is not coming back despite complaints, I'm going to change platforms. I'm just waiting to see if there's any movement between now and June 30.

this irritating change in ui just seems like someone trying to justify their job and moving things around. having the new episodes tab right there was very useful and now it is irritating af. (ps they have not changed this function on the windows pc app)

Tried out Pocket Cast and even tho Spotify have changed their UI back, I am sticking with PC for my podcasts - total control, clean UI, no pushing/advertising of garbage spotify-sponsored podcasts. Utopia! This change by Spotify has lost me as a podcast listener forever - won't be long until I do the same for my music too

Is there any way to just get a feed of podcasts I follow (without others inserted)?

Or, can I click "not interested"?

I'm on iphone, and having trouble finding the latest episodes from the podcasts I follow. I want to download these episodes in the morning and head out the door. Podcasts that I've never listened to show up, podcasts I've listened to once or twice have showed up, and podcasts that I've stopped following all litter my feed, making it time consuming.

The app should not be designed to make life harder or to work in unpredictable ways.
