Bring back the heart button!

It's SUPER frustrating, we can't see which songs we liked in our own playlists, Bring back the heart button PLEASE, the new way doesn't work AT ALL

Yes, Spotify is collecting ideas to optimize their product and services.
That's the idea so far. The reality? Even Microsoft updates their products and services more often and faster than this music service company.

But I'm an old customer, and they're not that bad at all.

But seriously, WHO had the idea to change the LIKE button to a simple green check mark???

And WHO on the team approved this idea??? Like is like, love is love - if I love a song, I want to express it with a heart.

By the way.
I was really confused by this green check mark and wasn't sure what it meant. It makes no sense!

I like just clicking the +button to add songs to playlists however when I do so it also automatically adds the song to Liked Songs which I find completely unnecessary in most cases.

I do not agree with you. The new button is way more useful because it allows you to 

- see every playlist in which a song is 

- remove a song from multiple playlists with just a few clicks

- add a song to multiple playlists with less clicks

I don't care if it's a heart or a tick so long as I can go to a playlist and see what I've got in my Liked Songs at a glance. Yesterday, i went to a playlist to add some tracks and I found that I was even being told 'save to your liked songs' for tracks that I know damn well I saved to Liked years ago. I checked the songs under the artists concerned and, yep, there they were. Maybe that was a temporary blip to add to the already existing cluster**** - I can only hope. If not, it's not only the user-unfriendly alteration that it already is, it's completely unusable!

Are you actively trying to drive people away or what? 

Edit: It did turn out to be a blip - so it's just the same stupid implementation that everyone else is complaining about. 

The fact remains that, combined with the cover art or queue list idiocy, this is the worst 'update' in a very long time.

Okay, I would like the ability to be able to like all songs. I miss that feature because you do not have it now. There should be an option to be able to like all songs. When I clicked on like the album it doesn't like all songs.

Yes, the new button is very useful for all of the things you mentioned. But it is absolutely useless for seeing which songs I have marked as favorites. And this idea is about that, to see (with a heart, star, etc...) which songs I have marked as favorites, at a glance and everywhere (lists, albums, etc...).

Practical example: This screenshot is part of a list created by me, the list has many more songs, this is just a part. Can you tell me with the current system how many songs I have marked as favorites without having to click on each one individually?

Either you have extrasensory powers, or it is impossible. The new button is totally useless for seeing my favorite songs at a glance.

I insist. This "Ideas" section of Spotify is absolutely useless. Users express their opinions, frustrations, etc... but nobody looks at it. Example: Spotify doesn't even follow the processes they themselves create. This idea should be marked as "Under Consideration" or "Case Closed", according to their own scheme. This whole "Ideas" section is a huge lie.

Please still consider bringing it back! I miss it and it’s so frustrating to not know if a song is in a playlist or just my liked songs when I see the little green check mark next to it
