Right now I´m using Spotify web and I must add that the this actually works now is totally ridiculous 😀 Working in IT industry I can say that it´s UI design gone quite wrong with this thing. Even though I´m sure Spotify has hundreds or thousands of UI designers.

How can it be that you have "add to liked songs "  in the UI but after pressing it doesn´t anyway indicate have you pressed it? It´s like having machine with on/off button and you actually can not know is it on or not.

It´s against all logic and UI design principles. Or is there some market logic behind this that we just can´t understand.

I also think the Spotify recommendations for me are not as good as they should be. I have given you quite lot of information which songs:

a. Are good enough I have added to my own playlists Not some AI motor generated playlist. These are also albums and artists I would check later are they good for categories b or c.

b. Are good enough that I have marked them as liked  (these songs are much better than average)

c. Are so good that I have downloaded them (just so I can at see which are the best songs)

So with all this information I have given you I don´t think the playlist recommendations are that good. I would be interested to know is the recommendation functionality even able to take into account which songs I have liked ? Or is it purely recommending the songs from category a - the songs that are on my playlist?

Anyway if the recommendation functionality has technical difficulties taking into account all the songs each user has liked maybe this is the reason Spotify is trying to downgrade/hide this functionality ?? There must be some reason because it´s bad UI design how it now works.

The previous commentor begged Spotify to fix this. As a user at this point I would insist you to do at least something. Hello Spotify ?  Even answer something to these comments. That´s how other software communities work. Customers ask somehing and the company responds. Also as stock owner I would insist Spotify to do something to this illogical UI.

This was amazing while in a playlist to see which song you already know and like. Now you can't see it anymore, its been months, its such a pain to navigate playlists now. I want to be able to easily queue up my best tunes ffs !

Please bring it back! For a while, I figured the "Plus" button had a similar feature, but it no longer makes sense. I have noticed in the past few weeks the "Plus" button means it's saved to a playlist. It's not the same thing! Also, wayyy back in 2015/2017, there was a curated playlist from the recently liked songs. Can we bring that back as well? K, thanks!

As already said, i ve already finished my Abo...

For me Spitify is no longer  a Pro Level Streaming

Service...reason is the amateurlike Features

(no Heart Button, no Comments possible) and the

very bad compressed and over equed Sound Quality.

This Service is only for amateurs and everybody with

a certain Musical Standard should leave this Platform.

I wanted to give this a try on the TV app so I tried adding a song to a playlist using the + (Plus) feature. It just doesn't work. Just please return the heart button; it's super intuitive while the plus feature doesn't help at all.

Hello, it drives me crazy that I can no longer immediately see if a song is in my Liked Songs list. Instead, it could be in ANY playlist (that I might delete later etc.)
PLEASE show in ANY place (ANY playlist song listing, ANY other place where a song is shown) if that song's in the like list already or not. Again, it drives me crazy.

My Question or Issue

The check mark is super confusing and inefficient. Before I used to see a heart that showed a song was in my liked songs. Now I see a check and I have to click to confirm it's in my liked songs. I use Shazam and it auto adds to the Shazam playlist, but that doesn't mean I just want it there. It's stupid and just causes extra clicks, why not just leave the heart and add the checkmark for playlists only. My liked song is not a playlist.

Almost an year has passed which is pathetic. I was still waiting but after so long I doubt they are bringing the heart button back. I was postponing moving to another platform because it will take some work moving all my music and I was still hoping they would bring the heart button pack or at least give us users some feedback.

Anyway, giving money to this company makes me feel like a fool, they don't pay artists enough so I would expect all of the money would go into hiring people that actually know what the ***** they are doing and have basic understanding of UX design. I've never seen such a stupid decision from any other company.

It really sucks that you guys at Spotify don't seem to care that We can like the album but We have to listen to all the songs and like them as well which is ridiculous. Please, at the very least,  bring back the like all songs button. That would help. If you're even listening or care.

This is really sad and very simple in the same time. I just cancelled my subscription.
