Bring back the heart button!

It's SUPER frustrating, we can't see which songs we liked in our own playlists, Bring back the heart button PLEASE, the new way doesn't work AT ALL

Yes I completely agree! I have very large playlists, so seeing which songs are liked made it so much easier to distinguish between nice/OK songs and amazing songs. Since this change, listening to my larger playlists has definitely become much less fun

I agree! When you want to add a song to a playlist you have to like it, hit the like button, remove it from liked playlist, then add to playlist. When you want to unlike a song you have to hit the like button and then remove from like playlist, and then the UI has do its thing for a while and you just wait. Really annoying! It worked just fine back in the day.

It's like I said a few months ago. Spotify REALLY but REALLY REALLY REALLY doesn't care AT ALL about what a few thousand of users have to say about what they do or not. They are too big to care. We are talking about millions and millions of people that simply don't care about the heart button. Take the 'not so friendly' lyrics background colors as an exemple. I've seen people petitioning about the hot colors in lyrics background, hot colors hurt eyes when you try to read the lyrics like red, you can't see the lyrics with a red background, it's just impossible, and they haven't lifted a finger to change that in years, it's still there. And it won't change. They can do whatever they want to do. People will pay and that's all that matters.

Hey Spotify, I just wanted to check back in about this. Even changing it so that library playlists default to showing liked songs in playlists would be HUGE. By default I can’t tell which songs in the playlist I’ve liked.

FFS PLEASE bring the like symbol and button back! Currently the only way to see if a song has been liked is to look through my entire liked list of hudreds of songs to see if it is there or not. F ridiculous. Why do you hate your users SO much?

Songs used to have hearts by them to represent that they were in your liked songs. I had to update my app yesterday in order to get my wrapped and now I’m sad they’re gone. They were cute, please bring them back.

• Please return the HEARTS (Favorites to Like Songs) The check mark as a replacement for liked songs (your recent update) defeats the purpose.  There's no way to distinguish between individual songs in each playlist that do not have hearts. It was fine the way it was prior to the update.  (The current dashes to the right at the end of each individual song in a playlist appear as though something is missing. And it is the heart! (favorite) Please return this feature A.S.A.P.

I totally agree with this thread. The biggest problem IMO is the multiple-tap menu-within-menu workflow to "unlike" something. Somebody is going to get in an accident trying to do this while driving

Please please please PLEASE Spotify listen to your community. Everyone who wants the hearts back may not see this but just know there is more than 2000 people who want them back. I had no choice but to update my app for wrapped and it was the biggest mistake ever. The wrapped wasn't even worth it.  That's not even my only issue but this is about hearts.
