Bring back the heart button.

The worst update of spotify was removing the heart button. Now I can't even tell which songs I've liked or not! I say that we should be given the CHOICE to use either the plus feature or the heart button. I find the heart button so much easier to use than the plus button.

The plus button is occasionally useful when I want to add a song to a playlist, but it is wildly annoying to "like" it. Using the heart button was so much easier than this process.

Please consider returning the heart (i.e., Liked, Favorite) feature to the playlists.

You replaced it with an expressive animation of the Artist CD cover,  currently at the top of each playlist.  This already exists with a non-expressive animation of the Artist CD cover for each song in a playlist.

I constantly add new songs to my playlists.  However, there's an existing  significant amount of songs in my playlists that  that I haven't listened to yet.  I always do so at my leisure.  The songs I've listened were separated from these with hearts (I e , Likes, Favorites)

Your updated feature groups all songs in a playlist in the same category.  It was excellent prior to your update.  A reversal would be extraordinary!

Thanks in advance.

I’ve been using Spotify for years and taking away the heart as a like option was genuinely the worst update to come to this app. Not only making it harder to organize my playlists but you took away the love doing it?? Not a fan, this is making me want to switch to Apple Music

Removing the heart button is the stupidest and most dysfunctional thing Spotify has ever done. It's crazy that it's not possible to see which songs I've liked in a playlist or album. Fix this now!

While the newer plus/checkmark system streamlines playlist management/organization (adding and removing songs from playlists), I miss the heart/like symbol being displayed next to my favorite tracks. Although songs can still be viewed in the "Liked Songs" playlist, it was incredibly useful to see hearts within my playlists, instantly distinguishing my top favorites from the rest.

When discovering new music, listeners often add multiple songs to their playlists but naturally gravitate toward certain tracks more than others. For example, when a new album drops, they may enjoy several songs but connect more deeply with specific ones. The heart symbol helped highlight those standouts, making it easy to see which songs resonated the most.

Beyond new discoveries, listeners always have familiar tracks in heavy rotation. While they may add new songs to their playlists, those tracks might not get as much playtime immediately. Over time, it’s easy to forget which of the newer songs stood out the most. The heart symbol provided a simple, effective way to keep track—without needing to re-listen to each new track, check the "Liked Songs" playlist, or click the plus/checkmark to see if a song was liked.

Bringing back the heart icon alongside the new system would offer the best of both worlds: seamless playlist management and an immediate, clear visual cue for personal favorites. And even if it wasn't specifically the heart/like symbol being brought back, possibly creating a new way of instantly distinguishing liked tracks from not-liked tracks within playlists--instead of having to take those extra steps.

The new system really works well from a functionality standpoint, but I feel like bringing this feature back--in addition to the newer system--could really improve users' experiences.

It’s extremely frustrating not knowing what songs are in my liked songs at first glance.

The heart button was so easy to use on the mobile version. I really miss quickly adding a song to my likes. I am not liking as many songs anymore because sometimes when prompted with the decision of where to put them, I give up. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!
