Browse collection by artist

A lot of people still have a physical collection of music. How do they sort them? mainly by artist, I guess. Shops also sort CD's/Records by artist. Maybe you even sorted your MP3- music by artist. To me, the most logical way to sort music.

My question: why can't I do this within Spotify? Why can't I sort within my spotify collection on artist? I know you can add artists to the artist tab, but if you click on it, it will not show the albums by that artist in your collection, just the general artist page.

Sometimes you want to listen to an album by a certain artist, but you can't remember the name of that album. So many options within the app, but this basic feature is lacking.
