• 😍 Enable emoji reactions like ❤️🙌😂 to quickly express how a song makes us feel.
• 📱 Introduce live chat so we can chat with friends without leaving the app.

Be able to chat with each other during jam sessions. As a "dj" you should be able to hide upcoming songs. 

Like the old days of mIRC. People could connect to your "jam session room" for you to perform live playlist (dj) session. People could talk to each other, comment on the songs.. etc.. like an virtual club/bar

I found this idea because I was googling to see if Spotify had this feature! It would be so awesome to be able to chat with the people in your jam. I love that you can see what your friends are listening to, it's one of the standout features of this app and I really wish Spotify would lean more into the social aspect because it is what could make the platform really set itself apart from the others in a great way.

I notice that many times when having a Jam session with friends, we message each other or comment on songs when they play. Is there a way to add a 'chat feature' to a Jam session in the Spotify mobile app? If not now, perhaps a future feature request?

Also, Spotify could always feed the text into AI and use sentiment analysis on the comments to suggest favorite songs to users (that they may have forgot about or not favorited) based on positive comments Thanks!

I agree with this wholeheartedly, just imagine how fun jam sessions will become after this. Spotify needs to add this ASAP!!!

Start a Jam-style room, add songs to a shared queue, and everyone sees who added what and what’s up next.
Chat right on the Now Playing screen no app switching.
React in the moment with emoji rain 😍 🌧 (plus stickers/GIFs if you want).
Invite-only rooms with simple host controls keep things cozy and safe.

I have an idea that could make Spotify Jams even more fun and interactive. Right now, when we listen to music together in a Jam, there’s no way to communicate without stopping the music.

It would be amazing if you could add a live chat feature inside Jams — a simple text chat where listeners can send messages, reactions, or feedback about the song that’s playing, all in real time.

This would make group listening sessions more social and engaging. People could share opinions, suggest the next song, or just react to the music without having to pause it.

Possible Feature Request:
A chat option in the Jam feature would be really great to discuss things like what genre of music to play and discuss the taste of the music.
