Continue Everynoise

everynoise.com is an invaluable exploration of Spotify genres, and the only place to see complete Friday releases with genre cross-references. Without it, much new music goes unheard.

The Spotify employee, glenn mcdonald, who maintained this was let go in recent round of layoffs.

Everynoise is no longer getting data feeds (beyond basic api) and New Releases may not happen.

Please make everynoise functions supported. I would prioritize New Releases.

Spotify letting Glenn M. go is already insane, not allowing ENAO and its tools to exist is even more insane. ENAO gave us accessibility to genres and new music in a way no one ever did. Please, give Glenn access to the API again.

Everynoise has made my Spotify immensely more useful. Please reinvest in these data employees, not AI that's build to do a crappy copy of their work. If not, I will truly be gone.

"Heard melodies are sweet, but those unheard are sweeter" - John Keats.

If you want to prove you haven't grown numb at the extremities, that you genuinely care about your users, please bring Glenn McDonald back or AT LEAST provide API access for Every Noise.

You lost a diamond in the rough.

I must agree with everyone else in keeping up support of the project. It offers something that is unique from the other music streaming services, the ability to easily explore music across all available genres. It is an indispensable source of musical discovery as someone that wants to discover new artists and genres. Losing this treasure trove feels like having my access to Spotify's library be severely diminished.

Hands down has helped me find so much more things that I like on Spotify than all the algorithmic recommendations and curated playlists. Made me value the app and my subscription so much more knowing that this site exists and am looking forward to being able to use it to help me explore more in the future.

EveryNoise has helped me discover so much and expand my tastes more than ever before on the Spotify app. It was what kept me coming back to the app, and will continue to keep me coming back for the app.

I've had so many scripts and workflows for gathering new gems from everynoise... I was even working on the wrapper API with nice interface... This is such a shame, the service should be maintained by the team, it's too valuable!

A totally indispensable site. Not just for the new releases, but for the demographic information and what it offers in terms of discovering new genres of music. The most prolific users generating playlists are almost certainly using the wealth of information offered by this site.

Sites like this are what set Spotify apart from Apple Music.

I am bereft! Until lockdown I had hardly touched the surface of Spotify. And then Everynoise.com came into my life and I found a way of discovering and sharing new music (via Twitter). It was an ear-opening experience and has led me down a path of craving new music every week, which has now become reliant on PL's to fulfil. Although, the House Concerts was easily my favourite part of Everynoise.com. Having lived in many places over the years, this was a beautiful tool for discovering the listening tastes of the places and friends I left behind. I am lost without it. Sharing new music on Twitter has enriched my life. And I have Glenn to thank.

Recently had to change payment methods and I won’t be updating it to continue my premium membership with the news that every noise is no more.

Gonna be using a playlist transfer app to migrate over to another service.

Unless every noise and all the wonderful playlists it’s responsible for comes back, I won’t be back either.
