Continue Everynoise

everynoise.com is an invaluable exploration of Spotify genres, and the only place to see complete Friday releases with genre cross-references. Without it, much new music goes unheard.

The Spotify employee, glenn mcdonald, who maintained this was let go in recent round of layoffs.

Everynoise is no longer getting data feeds (beyond basic api) and New Releases may not happen.

Please make everynoise functions supported. I would prioritize New Releases.

EveryNoise was the service that has kept me with Spotify for so long. I've used it to discover not just new music based on what I already like, but new music I never knew that I'd love! I have a whole private playlist of songs this platform introduced me to that I listen to all the time. Without it, I don't really see the point in continuing paying for a subscription that feels crippled after the last wave of layoffs.

As of this post, the Pulse and Edge playlists are still live and updating. Please ensure they stay that way, these are by far the best way i have found to get a steady stream of interesting and new music whenever i feel like it, far better than any of Spotify's own algo playlists. By the sounds of it, they cannot be recreated using the public API either so i guess it will fall upon someone still working for Spotify to at least make sure they aren't switched off. These playlists are an asset, please don't waste them.

This was a brilliant site, please bring it back

I am the kind of person who cares about the genre I am listening to. Everynoise.com was the place that helped me to identify possible genres of the artists I like. In my opinion, this resource was really helpful. That's why I suggest Spotify to develop it or create something similar (there is a big potential!).

I have used everynoise heavily since I discovered it, to discover new genres, and to explore new artists of genres I like. The discovery potential that everynoise unlocked was immense. I'm trying to work on a small tool that could help me continue this discovery when the currently archived version of everynoise unavoidably stops working, but the Spotify API is way too limited in its current form and it's clear that the power of everynoise also came from having internal access at Spotify.
I think Spotify should carefully consider investing in everynoise or something similar.

Everynoise was a major part of the value proposition of Spotify for me - please open up the API for it or websites like it so that I can discover music in a way I value.

This is just sad. I moved to Apple Music for a while but found that their well-curated playlists just couldn’t match the width and depth of everynoise, which made me switch back to Spotify. Perhaps it’s time to do the switch again.

EveryNoise is one (if not the) reason I've remained a Spotify subscriber for so many years. It's more than just a site, it's a goldmine for anyone with an open mind to musical exploration.

Please bring it back to life.

I was about to post on a forum that everynoise was the killer spotify app only to see it's been discontinued. It has been the only thing keeping me on the service for the past few years. Very upsetting news and it really should be baked into spotify, it's the only unique thing about it.

Does this mean the particle detector and sounds of spotify users are going to be discontinued too?

I work at a small radio station - everynoise was the go-to tool for our music editors to get an overview of all releases at a glance and to browse through them. They are currently struggling to find a replacement that is even remotely as good - so far without success.
