Customizable "Made for You" Playlist with Auto-Updating Podcasts

I love the "Made for You" playlists, especially the ones that mix music with podcasts, like Daily Drive and Daily Wellness. These playlists are great because they include podcasts that update or change whenever there's a new episode. For example, Daily Drive includes daily news podcasts that update throughout the day, which keeps the content fresh and relevant.

I think it would be amazing if users could create their own customizable "Made for You" playlists that automatically update with new podcast episodes. Here's how it could work:

  1. Create a Custom Playlist: Users can create a playlist that includes both songs and podcasts they frequently listen to.
  2. Auto-Update Podcasts: Instead of manually adding new podcast episodes to the playlist, the playlist would "subscribe" to the podcasts. This means that old episodes would be automatically replaced with the newest episodes as they become available.
  3. Personalized Content: The playlist would update daily, ensuring that users always have fresh content tailored to their preferences.

This feature would enhance the user experience by providing a seamless way to enjoy both music and podcasts without the need for constant manual updates. It would be particularly useful for users who follow multiple podcasts and want to keep their playlists up-to-date effortlessly.

Thank you for considering this idea!

Create a feature that would allow the creation of a playlist that updates daily. Can do it with music and podcasts.

- Create the playlist

- Indicate which artists or podcasts you would like to be included in the playlist

- Content is added each day.

For daily podcasts, this will allow users to organize their podcasts into a "theme" or grouping of like topic podcasts. Same for music, like music is added into the playlist as it releases, without the user having to chase down the music themselves.
