If you are like me, then you like to mess with the equalizer and crossfade settings that Spotify offers. I think it would be a really cool idea if you were able to save these settings to specific playlists that fit their vibe. Like if you have a playlist that uses a very specific crossfade or has really loud bass but also another playlist that has a different length crossfade or is less bass focused, then you should be able to easily switch from settings as you switch from playlists. That’s why I think having these settings save easily for each unique playlist to be a feature as I find it really annoying to go back and forth with the equalizer and crossfade settings outside of the playlist and spending a good minute trying to get the crossfade just right. These settings, if implemented, should be seen in the three dots you find in every playlist and there should be an option titled “Playlist Settings” and there you can find the crossfade and equalizer to change as you want. Of course this should be available for other people to listen to as well. Say you make a playlist that is really focused on transitions in between the songs then when other people listen to your playlist they should be able to hear it with the same transitions you had in mind. I think it would be a good idea however to make it so if you didn’t create the playlist then you shouldn’t be able to mess with the settings, or at least have an option to revert the settings back to how the creator of the playlist intended them to be, in that way anyone can listen to any playlist however they want without needing to adjust their crossfade or equalizer settings to match the playlist’s.

Bonjour,
