If i hate a song, then I don't want to hear it ever again. All of us run into this on an hourly basis. Every single day. Why in the world cant we dislike (or thumb down) a song to remove it from existence? Why do you torture us by playing songs we don't want to hear?

There is a "hide" option (only on mobile), and its playlist specific. The desktop version doesn't even have this somewhat-useless feature.

So I vote for a universal dislike button. No playlist limitations. No desktop vs mobile limitations. No buttons hidden in submenus. Just a simple, easily accessible button that can eliminate our headaches once and for all.

Why should he write you four sentences when any person with a brain in their heard could understand why people would want this in just one sentence?  It's a common sense feature: people don't want to hear certain artists or songs so allow them not to hear certain artists or songs.   🙄

it is a pity their IT guys do not properly think about the user experience. It is so annoying that Spotify plays me songs I do not want to listen to. It would be so simple to dislike, and make user experience so so so much better

I'm going to use a "bad" word.  Yes, we can choose songs we like.  I want to create a list of songs I H-A-T-E and should never ever have to hear on a service I pay for monthly.  I really enjoy the daily mixes and that they throw some unknown songs.  I like most of them, but the experience is ruined when they toss in "I'm Not Lisa".

After my daughter chose music in the car, Spotify offered songs in her style. The problem is that now I can no longer dislike songs; that option is no longer available!

Also, it would be nice to have the option to dislike artists or music styles in my preferences.

I haven't found a dislike  button, I do skip through some Mixes. When there are too many I skip the mix. or create a new mix with it's good stuff.  It's a common request. and a simlple fix. I also wonder why it doesn't get fixed ? Could be obligation/agreement to artists? Maybe ask your daughter to create her own mix . It's fun after getting the hang of it and I keep adding later. Some are getting very long.
