[Desktop][Podcasts] Sort by Unplayed/Recently Updated

Currently, the only way to listen to unplayed podcasts on desktop is to open a phone and check the feed there, or check every podcast individually for new content. That's 100% unacceptable, and has been for years.

Give us a podcast view that we can sort / filter by unplayed episodes or recent uploads. If you want to be the industry leader in streaming, you can't ignore table-stakes functionality because of "100 kudos" horsesh*t.

As easy the iOS app is to use, the desktop app is disastrous for podcast listeners. By now, the original suggestion is 4 years and 5 months old - as is the confirmation by your team. This. Has. Got. To. Be. Picked. Up. And. Resolved!

Hi, I'm from 5 years in the future. This problem has not been addressed, and Spotify desktop app is still subpar for podcast listening.

Do you have any updates on the status of this proposal? It has been several years since it was first suggested and it is still an incredibly frustrating experience to select podcasts in the spotify app for PC.

I do have a workaround for people who are also frustrated. The "What's New" action with the bell icon in the corner gives you a list in chronological order of releases of shows etc. This is definitely worse than the "New Episodes" tab in the mobile app and the same tab should still be implemented into the PC app/

This feature even doesn't work properly in the iOS App. Played podcast episodes appear now and then in the 'unplayed' list of episodes. Really bad.

Hi,

I wish there were a filter that could be used for search results. For example, podcasts.

Whenever I am looking for podcasts for a particular person or show, we should be able to sort the search results, by either release date, creator or episode name, similar to the playlist filters. This would be a useful feature for in-app browser, and desktop.
