[Desktop] Turn off Smart Shuffle in settings menu

Add an option for desktop app users of Spotify to disable smart shuffle as an option, If you're going to force us to use the shuffle button to reshuffle at least make it a two button press thing instead of four

The mobile app has a setting to disable Smart Shuffle, but the desktop app does not.

What the title says.
I hate it, remove it, let me turn it off.

YES let me disable it just like in mobile. It gets 'stuck' in smart shuffle mode all the time, it just turns itself right back on after I turn it off. I want to listen to my playlists in order sometimes too!

This is an option already, to not include smart shuffle in the shuffle modes, but for some reason it's not an option on pc, so I have to toggle between it every time, and its not very reliable when you do that, meaning some clicks don't always register or the symbol shown doesn't represent the selected mode. It seems odd to not have put the option on all platforms, so I figured I'd suggest it here

+1 from me

The setting is in the mobile app but not in the desktop app.

I think the apps should be consistent in the settings they offer for a more consistent user experience.

Enabling a function on mobile and not implementing it on desktop is indeed bizarre. This is needed on desktop ASAP.

Not only should we be able to toggle the entire functionality of smart shuffle, but the spotify devs should try and learn some basic coding, when I click the shuffle button, there should be no lag at all. I know its not my pc being slow, seems to manage extremely demanding profesional programs absolutely fine. So why does it take multiple seconds to update the icon for shuffle being turned on or off? And why does it sometimes revert whatever change youve done?

I can't count the amount of times I have either turned shuffle on or off and then when the next track comes on I realise that it hasn't been able to do the most basic of functions,

I get second hand embarrasment when I use spotify, I honestly wonder how hard it is to live with yourself as a spotify developer, I mean its really not even funny at this point.

Aside from spotify completely ruining the music industry with the constant pushing of AI trash and ghost artists, the least you guys could do would be the elementary level coding of implementing a proper shuffle button that actually works.

As the days go on, I am constantly reminded that by using spotify not only is the user experience extremely lacking, The artists are getting completely shafted by the evil, evil CEO. People really need to start just buying cds and digital copies again. Spotify WILL kill the music industry, and the CEO will be laughing all the way to the bank. Its a sham, and I can tell by how little effort they put into the service. The shuffle feature being coded by a gang of 3 year olds should tell it all.
