Disability Concession for disabled people

I do notice that there is not enough kudos for this topic.    Are you sure?
I strongly believe that if you have discounts for students - able bodied in most senses- then physical and intellectually disabled people should receive the same concessions.

Monitoring the bona fide of this would not be hard.  The user would need to submit the details of their concession card.

I am writing this on behalf of my intellectually disabled sister who loves her music.  She has limited finances, and any financial discount helps her to access other things.

I just cannot believe in this age, that there is not enough “kudos” for this.   I’m sure the artist who get a token amount of money from Spotify would agree to monetary concessions to disabled people.
Spotify could do a great service to themselves and the community to concede to such an idea.   Don’t forget it is 2021.
Get with the times please

Thanks. We will be outta here ASAP when trail is done ! Make no mistake
about that. Their corporate philosophy is not very people friendly
(unless you happen to be a student) NOPE this is UNACCEPTABLE.

Been thinking about that. This format is here for awhile for the music artist to make something extra after touring. Companies make money on this kinda of product by residual long term customer retention. Some company is going to open there arms and not only (still) make a profit on us, but, also gain a huge (I do believe huge) benifit with loyal customers BUT the public perception of the companies that are seen to actually care, that do that "little" extra, will be the ones that survive. No dought in my mind. For all I know there are services like this that do idk. This is literally the first I've contacted and from the multiple responses, well it's sad to see in this "one world, one Earth" time we're destined to. We need (all of us disabled still fighting) find a blog or some way to keep in touch and share what we find out there with any and everything that could help this group. I'm new, at this so I'm clueless but willing to stay in touch and help in any and every way possible

OK, we are officially out of this mess. Moving on to a company that
might just appreciate you and your dollars a tad more. What a joke this
consumer service is. Laziness on their part for sure. Blog away. Good
luck to you all especially disabled veterans.

Good luck with all ahead brother. Wish we could of figured a way to keep in touch after this but all will work out for all of us we've been bred to be fighters. Don't know any other way. Peace out bro

I agree totally with his my son has a range of needs and £9.99 a month isn't possible. it's annoys me how students get discount for everything when most of them get alot more money than most.

I hope this happens it's easy to prove you have disabilities so people wouldn't be able to cheat the system.

Spotify, are you going to be address this with us all? Or at least acknowledge it in some way. If you don’t you come across as money grabbing idiots

As someone said there is ways of implementing checks for us to confirm our eligibility and not scamming.

I really need a Spotify premium disabled discount. I was hit by a subway train in NYC in 2014 and am now living in Los Angeles for the medical care I am on a VERY SMALL $900/mo disability budget and barely even have $30 left after paying my bills every month. Food stamps apparently are "included in my budget" so i get by on eating free Soylent. I listen to A LOT of music, during physical therapy, before bed, waking up in the morning, it really helps my pain and just getting through the depression of being disabled. So, it would really help to conduce my healing process if we could purchase premium service at a discounted rate.
