Find Gig Buddies - Connect with Friends Who Love the Same Artists

Problem:
A lot of people love live music but don’t or can't go to as many gigs these days for many reasons. For example, not having anyone to go with; close friends don't like the same artists; niche music taste; close friends are not available on the date of the event; not wanting to reach out to everyone single friend to ask; not wanting to post online to ask; it's too expensive for some friends, etc. As we get older, friend groups change and life gets busier... So it can be hard. I'd love to be able to connect with new people or nurture new friendships through music/gigs.

Solution:
Spotify should let users link their Facebook or Instagram accounts (aware you can login via Facebook/IG, but some of us don't login this way). Linking the account would sync your Spotify follows/music activity and friends. (Would also be great for us to be able to edit these permissions in preferences). I think this would be useful in the "Events" section only, when browsing concerts.

When browsing the "Events" section, it will show which of your friends also follow/listen to that artist. That way, people will spot friends who like the same artist and able reach out to ask if they want to go.

E.g. "Find Events Near You" > Click on the event/concert > Shows details of the event, including "friends who like/follow this artist" > Your choice to contact friend(s) to ask if they are interested in going to the concert.

With more and more people feeling isolated and using social media, this feature could help us establish new or build on existing personal connections in person while encouraging more event browsing and attendance on the app.
