Issue with current Audiobook policy and 15 hour monthly limit

I would like to lodge a formal complaint against the audiobook policy in effect. Imposing a 15-hour monthly time limit to listening for premium members is the most ass nighen ridiculous thing and to make people pay almost the price of a full membership to get more time is a greedy money-grubbing scheme. As a loyal member for many years I would expect better and more from Spotify not to mention the stupidity of limiting audiobooks as most books are well over or at the 15 limited time frame and would mean that someone could only listen to partial if only one book per month which for an avid user is extremely limited and narrow-minded as someone should be able to listen to a truly unlimited number of books. I sincerely hope this makes its way up to the Csuite level as Iam not the only member who feels this way. reading through many of the Spotify community pages and other social media boards people are irate at the pigheadedness of this policy and demand that it be changed immediately. I hope common sense and good business and customer appreciation will prevail and you all will see the error of your ways.

I have spoken with customer support, and they have said that while they can't make or guarantee any immediate changes or improvements posting here on the idea board is monitored by those powers that would be and if a post gets over 100 likes and comments it will then be considered as an idea to be implemented. So please if you agree with me on this atrocious policy then please; please like and comment, and let's blow this up to make a change.

Agree wholeheartedly! Time spent listening to audiobooks can't be spent listening to music, so it should be unlimited as music is. Podcasts are unlimited even for those without subscription. So why such a tiny limit for audiobooks? Often 1 book, maybe 1.5 books a month. Listening on my commute to work that's less than a week & the limit is reached. Heaven forbid I listen while working, that's less than 2 days & the limit is gone. Most days I spend my time between podcasts (free) or audiobooks (highly limited hrs), I barely touch the music some months. Honestly have to wonder why I bother subscribing at this point.

100% Agree on this, and we just hit a similar issue. Have been a Premium Family subscriber for many years, and my wife would like to listen to Audiobooks on the platform. The fact that we have to pay more for her, rather than just share or allocate the "plan manager" hours, is totally silly.

I made this same complaint to customer service multiple times and get told the same thing and absolutely no change. They offer top ups that charge $13 the same as I pay monthly and it only gives you 10 more hours. It’s greedy is disgusting. On the verge of just canceling my entire subscription after years of loyalty.
