Karaoke mode please please pleaseee

Apple Music has a feature where you can lower the volume on the lyrics and just play the melody so you can do karaoke. Please this would be so good

Apple does it with their library. Why can’t Spotify do it ?

I like this idea, and maybe what would be cool is if you had a bouncy ball above the lyrics which would land on each word sang. 

If you had something like that which is properly in sync with the artist, as well as lowered volume on the vocals, it would make the karaoke experience a whole lot of fun 😁

I agree with this idea, but there probably would be a difference between Apple and Spotify. Apple Music implements karaoke by having a slider for vocals, and all the stems are AI-generated. Apple creates these stems with on-device processing. I’m not exactly sure Spotify can DO on-device processing(?) DJ is already run cloud-based though, so I think they can make more server space.

Love the idea. Thought it would be great if you had the option to stream the lyrics to a smartwatch or other device. Say my buddies phone is playing the Karaoke song, I could sync my phone or smartwatch to his device and it would show me the lyrics as the song plays.

I have found that many popular karaoke versions of songs are available on Spotify if you search for that playlist.
