Make Radio Plays available for managed accounts/Macht Hörspiele verfügbar für verwaltete Konten

Idea

With managed accounts created as part of a Family Premium Plan it is currently not possible to listen to Radio Plays ("Hörspiele"). I really like the newly introduced managed account but listening to Radio Plays is one of the main uses of my kids so not having access to those render managed accounts pratically useless for me.

E.g. Episode 46 of Die Fuchsbande shows up to be not available in a managed account:

For regular members of the Family Premium Subscription radio plays are available.

I have filled this idea because of the last reply from @hyade on Shared playlists not working on Kids accounts - Page 24 - The Spotify Community indicates that this might be missing functionality and not a bug.

This worked until shortly before Christmas. Then there were apparently technical problems. Now it's a pointless product decision. Reverse it and make it available again.

Yes, please!

Thank you @jirikaus for creating this request. I hope they pick it up quickly.

Without this feature the managed accounts are basically useless for teenage kids and there is no way I will let them use Spotify with a normal account and all that social media / video brainrot nonsense enabled.

I am adding my voice to this because the official response is highly disappointing.

Categorizing "Hörspiele" (audio plays) as "audiobook content only" completely misses the reality of how families in Germany use Spotify. For decades, these stories have been treated exactly like music albums – they are the primary reason many of us subscribe to Family Premium.

By removing them from Managed Accounts, you have created a paradox for parents:

1. Managed Accounts are supposed to be a safe environment, but you've removed the most important content for children.

2. Standard accounts have the content, but they don't allow us to disable video features (Canvas/Shorts), which we want to avoid for our kids.

The "music-only experience" for Managed Accounts should absolutely include these audio plays, as they have been part of the music catalog for years. Without them, Managed Accounts offer no real value to German-speaking families.

Please reconsider this decision and restore access to these titles for Managed

Accounts.

Let's gooo.

Completely agree, I want to be able to control the content with the managed account while letting them stream their favorite audio plays as well as music.

Please revert the intentional changes, because it seemed to work back in December.

Same problems here.

We have 3 childs and whithout this feature we can not listen to different radio plays/audiobooks (Hörspiele/Hörbücher) at the same time.

There are no chance to stream the radio plays/audiobooks for our childs via chromecast to smart speaker, only with the manager-account and just one stream at the same time.

Same problem here, please change this!
