Mix Sets (Custom and Shared Playback Profiles)

Overview:
Mix Sets extend Auto-Mix by allowing users to design, save, and share multiple “mix versions” of any playlist or album. Each mix set acts as a unique playback experience, from chill ambient flows to high-energy transitions—all using the same song pool.

Core Functionality:

• Create & Save Mix Sets: Users can customize mix criteria (tempo, genre weight, transition style, etc.) and save variations as Mix Sets.

• Mix Set Library: Each playlist or album can store multiple Mix Sets, which users can switch between like playback profiles.

• Community Sharing: Users can publish Mix Sets for others to discover. Public Mix Sets can be rated, with high-rated mixes surfacing as recommended defaults for others exploring that playlist or album.

• Adaptive Playback: Spotify can use listening data to automatically suggest or refine Mix Sets that align with a user’s tastes or listening context (e.g., workout vs. focus).
