[Mobile] Get rid of 'Create' button on mobile navigation bar

I recently got the last update, and found that a fourth button was added to the bottom navbar. What's the point of this? It's in the way of entering 'Your Library' section, as this was the default spot for that button.

Besides that, does it really need to have a shortcut? How often do people create new playlists or blends? There's already a button for that in 'Your Library', so...

I think removing this button will improve UI.

Switched from iOS to Android and now I keep hitting this previously non-existent button by mistake.

Just another episode of "Ordinary users wondering what Spotify product managers and UX designers do for work", I guess.

Reminds me of the fabulous Tik Tok-ish update to the Home Tab a while ago.

Please, get either rid of this button or make it optional. The same button exists in the top right in the Library and that's where it should stay - out of my way.

This Button Is Very Annoying For People Who Have Used Spotify For A Long Time, Mainly Because Everyone Is So Used To There Only Being 3 Buttons On The Bottom. I Think Spotify Should Get Rid Of It Or Make It Optional Through Settings For People Who Might Enjoy This Feature.

with the most recent update on ios, the “create” button has been put on the far right side of the quick menu, where the library used to be. this is so annoying!!! put the create button on the other side. i’m already so used to the library being over there for YEARS, why change something like that??

I have just got that button in my app on the iPhone too. Thanks but no thanks. Please add an option to either remove the button or re-arrange the buttons at that bottom row.

Seeing how they’ve been rolling this out since late last year, I imagine this won’t be addressed ? I still 100% agree with what the original poster said !

For years, all Spotify needed was simple, intuitive features like Apple Music’s context menus and queue management. Instead, we keep getting random, disruptive updates that nobody asked for. Are you trying to become TikTok? Since when is Spotify the place for 'creativity. Do we really need to clog up search results with user-generated playlists?

It feels like the platform has lost its way. Maybe it’s time to refocus on what users actually want—basic functionality, not gimmicks. Who’s steering this ship?
