[Mobile] Option to customize Your Daily Drive

Just got a playlist called "Your Daily Drive". So far, it's great because it mixes in news-like podcast snippets inbetween suggested songs.

However, it'd be great to mark a podcast as 'do not play again' or 'dislike' so it doesn't show up or similar podcasts don't appear.

It would also like to love/like songs that appear, as well as the ability to complete skip a podcast if its something I'm less interested in. Podcast runs similar to normal podcast, but I feel that this is a different experience (and a catered one), we should have more freedom to skip/like/love/dislike to make this experience improve over time.

Thank you!

The fact that this has been an idea for almost 4 years makes me feel like adding this comment is completely useless. The fact that customer service asked me to post here just tells me that y'all really don't care all that much.

I'm so tired of "hiding" a song and then hearing the same song every day on my "Daily drive" playlist. It's such a LOVELY feature in so many ways. But the way it handles music just doesn't work. NOT palying songs I've "hidden" seems like it should be an easy fix.

Why has this not happened yet?

Is this seriously still an issue?  This can't be that difficult to at least have the Daily Drive mix update daily, even if not customizable.

It's derived from Discover Weekly, just daily.

I can't bear to listen to some constant, undesired podcasts. Let us remove, or adjust the algorithm to get rid of some recommendations. I keep getting bugged by two-three proposals that are just, quite insulting due to political positioning.

My Daily Drive includes a podcast that has finished and the last episode was on 1 March 2024 and has repeated every day since.

These daily mix playlists should be able to check for this - or at least not play podcasts that have already been listened to by the user.

I've been following this for quite a while now and nothing has changed regarding Daily Drive or any of the auto-generated playlists. They all just seem to keep getting worse and worse and I'm using Spotify less and less. With a 2nd price increase in 2 months on the way, I'm starting to look elsewhere. It's just not worth it when I'm more angry/annoyed at using the app and its functionality (or lack there of)).

I contacted support yesterday about a podcast that finished 3 months ago but the last ep has been replayed every day in daily drive.

I can't believe the solution to this has been here for 5 years and hasn't been implemented.

How is this still open?!

I love listening to my daily drive each morning, but unfortunately a podcast is stuck on its final episode and keeps repeating over and over. Would like to sub out this podcast and add in a new one but its doesn't allow me. Please help

Another one that can not understand how this is not covered.

I am FED UP of skipping the same podcast every day. I know, I get the news from the radio station I usually listen to. That's fine. But why am I getting the sports part (it is a separate podcast).

At least the horoscope podcast is not appearing anymore.

Most annoyingly, skipping podcasts from the my auto using the skip button does not skip, it just advances 15 seconds. I have to press a couple of times to pass it, or directly getting the hand from the wheel, opening spotify in Apple CarPlay and press skip.

Really considering alternatives. I can add the same podcasts manually in other services, and while it takes time, at least I will get the ones I am actually looking for.
