[Mobile] Option to customize Your Daily Drive

Just got a playlist called "Your Daily Drive". So far, it's great because it mixes in news-like podcast snippets inbetween suggested songs.

However, it'd be great to mark a podcast as 'do not play again' or 'dislike' so it doesn't show up or similar podcasts don't appear.

It would also like to love/like songs that appear, as well as the ability to complete skip a podcast if its something I'm less interested in. Podcast runs similar to normal podcast, but I feel that this is a different experience (and a catered one), we should have more freedom to skip/like/love/dislike to make this experience improve over time.

Thank you!

Would love to be able to customize the daily drive.

I just need music and some news mixed in. But right now I get podcast episodes I don't care about at all.

Do we have a Roadmap here?

This has been a “good idea” for almost two years. When will it be implemented?

They love to pay lip service as long as you pay the bill every month. But they don’t follow up on suggestions they deem worthy of looking into further by saying it’s a, “good idea”. And they love to slip in adverts disguised as part of the program.

I HATE entertainment news - I do not give a flying f*#k what celebrity is doing what.  Pedestrian TV is appalling and I don't want to listen to it.  I gave up on DD for a good six months and just started listening to it again with the hope that it might have changed but no such luck.  They must be paying some big dollars to force listens.

I like the rest of it though.

How has this not been implemented yet? After TWO YEARS?! I'm giving up on DD. Shame casue it's a great concept

I've been a huge fan of the Daily Drive, but I would REALLY like to pick which podcasts get included.  OR even set it to only include new episodes of podcasts that I'm already following. In my "2022 Wrapped", all of the podcasts included were ones that I only "listen" to because they are included in my Daily Drive and I try to skip them 99% of the time.

This isn't just a mobile issue. I mostly listen to Spotify by casting from my PC to my smart home devices all day while I work from home.

This "Good Idea" has been open for 3.5 years with no traction and is one of my BIGGEST issues with this service. It's one of the reasons I don't listen to the Daily Drive playlist more. Please consider making this a priority.

Also mute the podcast for a week....of for a month....

Echoing Scowlingfrog the daily drive list is the same on both PC and Mobile. I would very much just like a way to say 'yes more of this' or 'no not this kind of thing' or 'no not this specific song'.

Thank you for continuing to make Spotify a service that I love.

I assume this works the way it does because of deals being made in the background to promote certain podcasts but it is really anti-consumer. Spotify has an amazing recommendation engine for music, I'm sure it's quite obvious that I have no interest in either Sports or Lifestyle news updates by this point.

I assume after 4 years there is not much appetite to break off what I assume is an additional income stream but it really does make Daily Drive pointless as I'm skipping most of the News bits anyway so I might as well just listen to a Daily Mix.

Yes a dislike button would be really useful in automated playlists  like this.
