[Mobile][Playlists] 'Add to playlist' sort order should be custom

In the latest Spotify library redesign, when I try to add a song to a playlist, the modal that opens sorts my playlists in a seemingly random order. This is very annoying since I have a mix of many playlists/folders in a specific custom order, and now finding the correct playlist to add a song has become a pain. This has only become a problem in the latest update, and worked perfectly in previous Spotify versions. I think that the order of the playlists in the "Add to playlist" dialog should follow the same order as the main Playlists tab - that is, if I have my playlists sorted by custom, the dialog should be sorted the same way.

How has this not been fixed yet? I have many playlists. I play music while driving, and disorganization creates distraction. Spotify's focus seems to be making users have to LOOK and TOUCH an AUDIO application. Know your place Spotify, users can, do and will continue to jump ship because you force control over what is ours, We do pay for it.

Looking at the duration of this complaint it does appear that Spotify has lost its customer focus over something as easy to fix as this.
Fix the "Add to playlist" pop-up selection sequence!

Big +1 for a solution for this problem.

The custom playlist order is a must-have in the Add to playlist pop-up.

On the mobile app you are able to sort by alphabet, which is the only useful option at the moment, imo.
But on desktop not even that is possible. It is a random mess.
The same sorting options like on mobile would help a little bit for now.

This is one of the only features that absolutely needs to be changed, as it negatively affects/eliminates entirely one of the main functions of Spotify: adding songs to playlists.

To specify:

I want to add a song to a playlist:

  1. So I click ". . ."
  2. and then "+ Add to Playlist
  3. Then I am looking for a specific playlist, but I do not have them memorized so I cannot use "Search”
  4. But all my playlists in this moment are out of order, so I press "Sort"
  5. The only options I have are: "Most Relevant", "Recently Added", “Alphabetical", and “Recently Played”. There is no option for “Custom Order”. This is the only order in which I can find my music properly.

So basically, what I have to do is add it to a New Playlist. Then log into Spotify on my computer, and find the Playlist to transfer it to.

The device this affects for me is iOS. On MacOS, the options are ONLY custom order. I assume it takes the order that your app is configured to.

They've now added an option to sort the "Add to Playlist" list but only by Recently added, Alphabetical, Recents or Most relevant (still don't know what that even means). But there's still no "Custom order" option, which in my opinion is the only way that makes sense when you're looking for a particular playlist.

Why is this still an issue?

Dear Spotify ,

In the music playing section , while i listening a song i don't have a direct add to playlist button ; for this action i forcefully do first like the songs then select and deselect the song , its make huge time consume..

kindly make sure a option to add to playlist button directly.
