Dear spotify,

First of all, thanks for your awesome service! I really enjoy my premium account on my desktop and iPhone version and use it at home and wherever I go. However there's something that bothers me often while searching for a song, especially on the iPhone version.

I often search for a song of a specific artist. So I use the search function and reach the artist's page. Once there, the app only shows the 5 most popular songs of the artist. But often the song I'm looking for is not listed there (maybe nr 6 on the list or lower). Now I have the option of searching through the albums, which can be quite time consuming, or try to use the search function again and hope to find it with a more specific combination of words (provided that I know anything more than the artist's name).

Now every time I get to this I'm thinking why can't I tap a button ('see all songs') which allows me to see all the artist's songs in a list? That is something I'm looking for intuitively. On the desktop version, the list of 5 can be extended to 10 most popular, but also here I'm thinking: why only 10?! Actually, the list I'm looking for can be brought up by the app already by playing the first song (while not in shuffle mode) and tapping the playlist icon. This brings up the kind of list I would like to see: all the artists songs I can just browse through. Only now I'm playing the first song, which I didn't want to hear at all.

Preferably, I would want to be albe to sort the list in order of popularity or alphabet.

A faster solution would be to ad a "COMPLETE" playlist of every artist, just as they already do with the "this is" playlists, which only comprise of the most popular songs.

In addition, and i think this is the most important point, they should put in said playlists every single song which features one artist. Bc at the moment,  if an artist gets featured on a track in the album of another artist, and said  track is not published as single but only in the album, then i will never be able to know that it exists, unless i follow the other artist and search through their discography.

this sucks bc i can remember that years ago every artist had a list in their "discography" section where you could tap and see every song in which said artist was not the primary artist, but a feat. Then they removed it but it was extremely useful especially with rappers, who make a lot of feats.

Hope they will somehow solve this bc its too easy

I can only dream of how amazing and practical it would be to go into an artist's page, click on Songs and get a long list where you can Sort by Likes and Sort by Plays. It would be so indescribably more easy to find songs I'm looking for. Imagine how much revenue Spotify get from *us*! What are they doing all day at the office? I mean, this is such a simple and great idea, are they even using own app smh... 🤦

Hi! 

When I go to any artist's page I can see 5 most popular songs and a discography. 

I don't want to listen to a particular album. What if I just want to listen to every song this artist has. Why don't you have this option to go further than just 5 songs and open ALL songs of this artist. And then play them in order of time/popularity/shuffle/whatever

I came to Spotify after AppleMusic and this is the only thing I miss. 

There is a button "See discography". So why is there no button "See all songs of this artist".

We’ve been posting in this thread for about a decade now, and either
Spotify doesn’t read it, doesn’t care, or if there’s a legitimate reason
why they don’t implement this feature, they can’t be bothered to just let
us know. I think they enjoy watching people post to a decade old thread.

Anyway, I have Apple Music, YouTube music and Spotify, and none of them let
you just see an alphabetical list of all of an artist songs that are
available to stream. They just don’t do it, so I figure there’s a reason
for that. Maybe it’s some kind of weird licensing issue or something.

I just wish someone from Spotify would read this thread and end it.

Hello!

I was wondering, why there isn't an "All Songs" button on the Artists Page on Spotify. There are several Tabs called "Music", "Clips", "Events" and "Merch". Next to it could be another Tab called "All Songs". It could also be implemented somewhere else.

The basic idea is, that somewhere in the Artists Profile, there is a list of all the songs that Artist has ever created/loaded up on Spotify. You can Filter the songs after Release Date, Name and Views/Clicks/Popularity. Maybe there can also be a Play button to interact with it as if it was a playlist.

I just don't understand why such a feature or menu hasn't been implemented in the App yet, because it really feels that something like that is missing when searching for new music, especially when you find a new creator. On my research I've stumbled on a post from September 2015, suggesting nearly the same thing like me, but it got denied in 2020. I think that's sad, because this could have really enhanced the expierience of using Spotify.

When using the android app, I can search for an artist... I can click on them and then see 6 of their popular songs, their discography, their singles/eps... But I want to see a list of ALL of their songs.

How does this still NOT exist! It makes NO SENSE to not have it as an option.  Let's all switch to apple music because it's offered there. Infact, that's what I am going to do.

…except it’s not. Apple Music doesn’t shot a complete list of songs either.
