[Mobile] View & Shuffle all Tracks in Playlist Folders

The latest spotify for android update, as well as the newest iOS update, removed the "shuffle all" option for multiple playlists within a folder. I used this feature every day and it's my favorite spotify feature. Please bring it back!

I'm sure Spotify is raising its prices so that it can afford to implement this and all the other changes that thousands of users have been requesting for years while its developers were busy making changes that nobody wanted instead. /s

This simple request is a big deal for users who transition between desktop and mobile. As a user who built my music library on the desktop it is virtually unusable on mobile devices. I would have to restructure all of my music library into playlists, I would have to migrate out of using folders. For this reason, the user experience of managing a library should be the same on mobile as it is on desktop. If this functionality isn’t going to be added to mobile then it should be removed from desktop to avoid wasting users time creating an unusable libraries.

It's impressive to take something extremely useful that already worked perfectly. And even after years it does not return with the function requested by users. Very sad!

Come on already! It's been years and this feature is available in the desktop app already. Am I going to have to start working in Spotify to fix this my self or what?

Would also be awesome if the folder could be started by google assistant or alexa

mayherbs

it’s been 4 years you can implement this now

Would help that I wouldn't need a massive playlist of over 6000 songs.

i have no idea why you guys removed this feature.

I just don't understand why adding a play all button in the android app's playlist folder is such a big deal. They keep adding so many features nobody asked for and fall short on these basic things especially when desktop version already has this. Also why is that? Is there literally zero communication between the desktop and mobile engineers? This is just too infuriating when one takes all that time to organize the library in desktop and when going to reap the benefits in mobile which most people use most of the time it makes them look like a fool.

"Not right now", thanks for nothing Spotify.

You keep doing a terrible job at listening to your customers. This is the same as you are doing to improve the shuffle function.

Not listening. Ironic for a company that provides a listening service.
