[Mobile] View & Shuffle all Tracks in Playlist Folders

The latest spotify for android update, as well as the newest iOS update, removed the "shuffle all" option for multiple playlists within a folder. I used this feature every day and it's my favorite spotify feature. Please bring it back!

I really don't understand why spotify does not bring this option to mobile devices. Now i'm using 3rd party app playmixify to add autosync multiple playlists to 1 new one . But shuffle in folders would more easier . And i discovered that the feature is still active on pc : right click on the folder and choose play .

So true! Why is this feature only available on desktop? I have a particular folder with dozens of ordered playlists and songs, and I can't play&shuffle them.

Hello there,

Basically, on the desktop app i'm able to create a folder, add multiple playlists inside, right-click the folder and hit "Play" to shuffle through every playlist's songs It has inside.

I would really love to also have this "button" on my mobile application, and i would like to suggest the implementation for the next versione of the app.

Thank you very much!

Give the possibility of playing a folder, for example: I have a folder that I made with the name Rock, and in it I placed several playlists with different aspects of the rock style. Sometimes I listen separately to the playlists that are inside the folder, but I would love for the function to play the entire folder to be available, so that I can listen to all the playlists that are inside that folder in random mode.
Provide the possibility for this to be done, whether on a cell phone, computer, television or in the car

Yes, please.  We have this function on the PC program but not on mobile.  Need the ability to play a folder which has subfolders within it so that I can, for example, shuffle the "Rock" folder which has sub folders "Classic Rock," "Alternative Rock," "Metal," etc.

Desperate for this feature to return! I've noticed recently it wasn't available on desktop either. Maybe that was just me, but either way, I rely on that feature on desktop. Having it back for both desktop and mobilewould be SO important to me

Could you embed folder playable like desktop app ?

On Linux, you play à folder of playlist with the right button of the mouse

andreasb99

In the Windows app you are able to play all sub-folders from the main folder, i.e. you have a main folder with sub-folders/playlists. This feature would be nice to have in the mobile app too.

Really dont understand why. But they will never bring it back again. They dont care either.

  • Feature Request: Shuffle Playlists in Folders on android/mobile

Currently, on the Spotify desktop app, users can shuffle and play all playlists within a folder by right clicking the folder and simply pressing play, and also ensuring that the shuffle button (located next to the media controls) is turned on. This allows Spotify to seamlessly shuffle through songs from multiple playlists within the folder, providing a dynamic listening experience.

However, this feature is not available on the Android app. Expanding this functionality to mobile would significantly enhance the listening experience, allowing users to shuffle through playlists organized in folders directly on their phones, just as they can on the desktop.

Bringing this desktop feature to Android would empower users to enjoy their music collection more flexibly and intuitively, making Spotify even better for mobile listeners!
