[Mobile] View & Shuffle all Tracks in Playlist Folders

The latest spotify for android update, as well as the newest iOS update, removed the "shuffle all" option for multiple playlists within a folder. I used this feature every day and it's my favorite spotify feature. Please bring it back!

Could you embed folder playable like desktop app ?

On Linux, you play à folder of playlist with the right button of the mouse

In the Windows app you are able to play all sub-folders from the main folder, i.e. you have a main folder with sub-folders/playlists. This feature would be nice to have in the mobile app too.

Really dont understand why. But they will never bring it back again. They dont care either.

  • Feature Request: Shuffle Playlists in Folders on android/mobile

Currently, on the Spotify desktop app, users can shuffle and play all playlists within a folder by right clicking the folder and simply pressing play, and also ensuring that the shuffle button (located next to the media controls) is turned on. This allows Spotify to seamlessly shuffle through songs from multiple playlists within the folder, providing a dynamic listening experience.

However, this feature is not available on the Android app. Expanding this functionality to mobile would significantly enhance the listening experience, allowing users to shuffle through playlists organized in folders directly on their phones, just as they can on the desktop.

Bringing this desktop feature to Android would empower users to enjoy their music collection more flexibly and intuitively, making Spotify even better for mobile listeners!

True but unfortunately the devs marked it as not right now.. now that was a
long time ago back in 2017.. but just to put it out there... instead of
adding things that are important to the community and what they would want
added to benefit them and everyone else they choose to add non important
features and shutdown actually successful ideas over 3000 votes and its
still waiting.

better solution is spotify impelimenting this idea , but the next best thing is playmixify, 3th party application that makes a synced playlist based on other playlists of yours. So then you can add all playlist of a folder and create a new one, which you can shuffle play. The author just released a new version : https://playmixify.com/

try it , you love it !

I completely agree. For me, Playmixify has become part of Spotify.

@rikverstraete Cheers ill check it out, hopefully the devs add it asap... the functionality is already there on desktop and folders on both so i dont see it taking long to implement. I'm getting a new car in September that has android auto and id hate to constantly switch between our greatest playlists with over 10,000 songs. ☹️

Anyone having issues with Playmixify?

Since they updated their web UI I can't make any new playlists and my current playlists no longer sync.
