[Mobile] View & Shuffle all Tracks in Playlist Folders

The latest spotify for android update, as well as the newest iOS update, removed the "shuffle all" option for multiple playlists within a folder. I used this feature every day and it's my favorite spotify feature. Please bring it back!

It’d be cool if you could have multiple playlists that you can organize into a folder. Similar to Pinterest’s board section feature but with different playlists!

Hey Spotify. Is anybody out there?

Adding my name to the list here.

I set up my library

• All Music (Folder)

  ••  Mood 1 (Folder)

     ••• Playlist

     ••• Playlist

  •• Mood 2 (Folder)

etc

Being able to run shuffle on this type of structure at any level is a huge benefit on desktop, and equally so on mobile.

Spotify Version: 9.0.32

Right now, Spotify lets users organize playlists into folders—which is a great way to keep things tidy. However, you can only play an entire folder on the Desktop App, not on Mobile.

It would be incredibly useful to bring folder playback functionality to the mobile app. Many of us use folders to group playlists by mood, genre, or occasion, and not being able to play the entire folder on-the-go really limits the experience.

Adding this feature would streamline listening, especially for users who want to shuffle through a collection of playlists without switching between them manually. It’s a small change that would bring a huge improvement to mobile usability—and honestly, it feels overdue.

Hi,

So instead of solving this issue for so many of us, you decided to make folders unplayable on desktop too?!

That ruined my day.

Dunno how many years this "feature" has been unrecognized... The only workaround I have for this is :

Start playing the folder on your desktop app > Open your smartphone app until you see the song playing that's running on your desktop (if u don't see it, join the same wifi once)

This is just a minimal solution, because you can't switch to another Playlist without being able to switch back to folder play.

@spotify devs: the fact that this even works shows that it's just a matter of taking this request finally into your sprints.. Come on folks you are great at what u do WHEN u do it..!

Hi there,

Did you notice that the play button for folders has gone on the desktop too?
I also don't have the option with the right-mouse-click menu anymore.
Is this part of a new update?

Desktop Spotify: The Play button is INSIDE the folder, top left middle window (if 3 win view).

No, you were right, Korjuin, it's not there...
