[Music] Custom Start & Ending Times for a Track

Hi.

I'm a big electronic music lover and there is only one feature i would like added to spotify. The option to choose a part of the track i would like to play and have the settings saved.

In the world of electronic music there is almost allways 2-3 minute build ups, and not many radio mixes of each track.

This can be a problem when having a party and a track lasts for 7 minutes with 3 of them is a buildup that not everyone would like to listen to.

It would be nice to have a feature like this that i can change on each track, just drag 2 buttons to a start and end point. and maybe have a 3-5 second fade on where i choose to set them.

I’d love to request a feature that would be incredibly helpful for many listeners: The ability to set custom start and stop points within a song and loop only that section.

This would make it so much easier to practice music, learn a specific verse, rehearse choreography or just enjoy a favorite part of a track on repeat. Being able to highlight a specific segment and loop it would add a lot of value and make Spotify even more helpful!

Ability to set a start time for multiple songs in a playlist to skip unwanted intro on some songs.

I love to have a 5 or 6 seconds overlap between songs. But some songs have a long delay before they actually start or a long silence at their end breaking the smoothness of an overlap between songs. So I would appreciate a way that I could edit the beginning or ending of a song.

Music isn’t always about listening to a full song — sometimes, it’s just one line that hits the heart.

Many listeners replay entire songs again and again just to feel a specific lyric or moment. It would be truly powerful to have a feature that allows users to select a particular line or short segment of a song and listen to it on loop.

This would create a deeper emotional connection with music and could be a meaningful addition to Spotify Premium.
