[Music] Import & Export Music

I love my playlists. I've added to my starred playlist for about two years now, and I always wonder what I'd do if my playlists were somehow wiped. So how about something that would rest my mind, the ability to back up your playlists to say, a text file containing all your songs, and then you can import your playlist if it somehow goes missing! This would be an ace feature as I see some people are having issues with duplicate accounts and their playlists being wiped.

This would also making sharing playlists between friends even easier!

TL;DR: Let us export our playlists to a text file, and then import our playlists whenever we like.

So what is important then? To be frank, importing playlists, along with documentation in the help section is close to nothing.

Due to GDPR Spotify offers to download your listening history (last 90 days), all of your saved playlists, your followed artists and other data in JSON format here:

https://www.spotify.com/ca-en/account/privacy/

Importing and/or converting playlists or CSV files in Spotify is also possible with online tools like Soundiiz, Playlist Converter, Tune My Music and others.

May I also tack on that it would be awesome if we could export our playlist to Youtube.

So that, instead of me looking for all the official music videos on youtube and hand making a playlist i already have on Spotify doesnt take forever.

I have playlists with other apps. One has over 1000 tracks. It would be great to import them and add to them  Maybe merge some of my Spotify playlists into them. The prospect of ticking a 1000 tracks leaves me cold.

I understand that you used to have an "import playlists" facility which has disappeared over time and upgrading. Could we have it back please?
