It'd be awesome to be able to add my own tags to all of my songs in playlists, so I can easily and specifically sort my songs how I like.

Should be a pretty simple tool to implement.

It would really improve the user experience and playlist creation if it were possible to add personal labels or categories to songs and have automatic playlists that are created from song data.

For example, a song would be added to an automatic playlist if it was liked, was released in the 1990s, and had a personal label of a"Rock".

In my Liked Songs playlist, it would be great if Spotify displayed the genre or vibe of the song that’s currently playing.

Spotify already knows this information (since it uses it for the genre and mood filters at the top of Liked Songs), but it’s not visible to listeners. Having a small label under the title or even just highlighting the filter at the top that the song would fit into, would make it easy to stay in the same vibe, discover new songs that match the mood, and better understand what kind of music you’re drawn to.

Unlike “Song Radio,” this feature would stay within your Liked Songs, letting you explore your own library by mood or genre instead of pulling in unrelated tracks.

This feature could help users:

• Instantly see what genre or mood their current song fits into

• Follow that vibe through their Liked Songs

• Build playlists that flow naturally by energy or feel

• Learn more about their listening patterns

Sometimes I just want to keep the same energy going — this feature would make that effortless.

I would like to request a feature that allows users to add custom tags to individual songs and filter playlists based on those tags.

Feature Overview
・Users can assign any tag to a song (e.g., artist name, mood, genre, theme, or any custom label).
　Example:
　・“Emotion” — MAN WITH A MISSION → tag: MWAM
　・“Shoujo S” — SCANDAL → tag: SCANDAL
・Playlists would show a list of all tags used within that playlist.
・Selecting one or more tags would filter the playlist to show only songs that match the chosen tags.

Why This Would Be Useful
・Helps users organize and navigate large playlists more easily.
・Allows grouping songs by artist, mood, theme, or any personal system.
・Improves the listening experience by enabling filtered shuffle based on tags.
・More flexible than folders or playlists, since a song can have multiple tags.

Example Use Case
・I have a large “Rock” playlist with many different artists.
・By tagging songs with labels like “MWAM”, “SCANDAL”, “J-Rock”, or “High-Energy,” I could quickly filter the playlist to show only MWAM songs or only high-energy tracks depending on my mood.

Conclusion
Custom tags and tag-based filtering would give users much more control over organizing and enjoying their music.
