Only listen to songs NEVER heard before

As one who listens to music through Spotify several hours per day, I often feel that I would like to only hear songs that I have *never* listened to before on Spotify.

This would make it possible to discover great new music, and also not having to hear my "favourites" that I've already heard many, many times.

This feature should be added as a possibility to "Song Radio" as well as the automatic list that starts after a playlist ends. This could easily be a button in which you choose "Play only songs that I never listened to before".

I think its strange that there is no such feature today. What do you think?

Sounds like a good idea. To my mind it is very fun to discover new songs and artists. Hope it will be introduced.

Spotify's shuffle used to be SO good. It would recommend new songs I haven't heard that were of a similar genre as a song I liked. I used to be able to find so many good, new (to me) songs! Now shuffle is so bad; like you said, it begins by playing the same 7 seven songs I already know and like over and over again, and then every few songs ANOTHER song I already know and like plays again. It's so much harder to find new songs. When I start a radio from a song, I want to find new music, not hear the same songs over and over again! It infuriates me

This is what I liked about the enhanced shuffle feature. It suggested new songs based on songs already in my playlist so I can find new ones based on what I like/ looking for. But now that they took that option away, I get recommended the same exact songs that I was never interested in. I can't find new songs, I'm stuck in an echo chamber of songs now. Any new songs I find are off the platform.

I am offline or out of sevice area all day at work. I don't have time to research and download music.

My Spotify daily Playlists repeat the majority of the same songs over and over to where I am sick of them completely. 

Discover Weekly is nice, but it is weekly and usually the same genre. Having fresh music with different generes would be nice.

If I listen to a playlist and it is at its end, Spotify allows a "we suggest to you" to continue with similar songs.  But when this occurs, I hear a lot of songs that are already in one of my playlists.  That also disturbs the statistics at the end of the year 😉

aI'd like to get an option to prevent that so I always only hear new (to me) songs with the same mood of the playlist.

This is a great idea. I would love to hear music (in genres that I like or are similar) that I haven't heard before, especially when listening to "Discovery Weekly" (which plays stuff that I have listened to before) and Ice-T (The D.J., which plays mostly what I usually listen to along with songs in genres that I don't like). It tries to wear out my for-certain-times or otherwise favorite songs.
