Option to Turn Off Clickable Song Names

I’d like to suggest adding an option to disable clickable song, album, and artist titles in playlists..

At the moment, every title in a playlist or album acts as a link. While this can be useful, it also creates a cluttered experience filled with constant redirections.

A single misplaced click instantly pulls you away from your playlist, which can be very disruptive, especially when all you wanted to do was glance at the title.

A simple toggle in Settings (e.g., “Make track titles clickable: On/Off”) would solve this. For users who prefer a cleaner, distraction-free experience, removing those constant links would make Spotify feel less cluttered and more focused on the music.

This change would bring three key benefits:

Less clutter: Playlists feel calmer and easier to browse without endless redirections.

Fewer interruptions: Accidental clicks won’t break the listening flow.

More choice: users can decide whether they want titles to be clickable or not.

Long playlists are where this issue stands out most. With so many clickable elements crammed together, it feels overwhelming and too easy to get redirected away from what you’re listening to. Adding this toggle would make the interface more streamlined, user-friendly, and enjoyable.
