[Podcasts] Bring back new episodes

Removing the ‘New Episodes’ section of podcast and replacing for the ‘what’s new’ section is incredibly untidy and hard to track!

Strongly agree with this idea and it is clear from earlier discussions on this topic that a lot of people want this feature back. It makes no sense to remove it and the “what’s new” option under the bell on the home page is totally inadequate as an alternative.

Responding to a recent change in the app. The “new shows” section has been removed from my library and buried on the discover page. This is a terrible user experience change. Instead of quickly finding and tapping to my feed of new shows, I have to find it among a bunch of other stuff I’m not currently looking for. Not sure if the goal of this is force users to engage with more content, but if so, that’s a bit of a dark pattern, no?

I strongly agree as well. The new update is terrible, made something that was a seamless part of my day to a new workload to keep listening to my favorite pods. Also, while we're at it, bring back the check button so i can quickly mark some episodes as listened to. I'm legit considering going to another podcasting app

I subscribe to a bunch of podcasts and I listen to them in a very specific order. Sometimes it’s a week or two before I can listen to an episode. Before, the episodes would be waiting for me. Now, a ton of already listened to episodes are cluttering up the space. At the very least, please add an “unlistened” filter.

Spotify needs to listen to their customers on this one before an exodus starts. Really great fellow users are voicing their opinions and ideas.

It seems like Spotify has listed to its customers - new episodes is back where it belongs - good one Spotify.
