[Queue] Queue to Next or Last

Present two options on rightclick, Queue Last and Queue Next. Very easy to implement, and useful.

The way I been using spotty lately is to keep adding to Play Queue, it has gotten really long and sometimes I want to listen to something right now, then I have to add to queue and then move the songs all the way up to the top.

Mediamonkey have had this implemented since long ago. Mediamonkey is btw the best musicorganizer I've ever owned or tried.

Hey there,

Thanks for this submission. We had a slight hiccup with moving ideas to different boards, but it's all good now.

We're setting the status of this one as "not right now", but that doesn't mean that your votes don't count.

Cheers!

Currently, Spotify adds songs to the top of the queue, right after the song whis is currently playing.

Spotify should allow us to:

- Add after the current song (this is as it is today)

- Add after the last song in the queue (this is what has to be added)

This is working correctly in Youtube and other players. This makes Spotify feel outdated.

Hello, relatively new Spotify user here.

This feature is available in virtually every music player app/service in existence.

Deviating from this utterly basic feature is not a unique quirk, it's like using triangle-shaped wheels just because the circle is too mainstream. It's nonsensical and inefficient.

Spotify can add a feature in which a person can select which song to play next after listening to present song because if a person make a playlist and sometimes he/she might not want to listen to those songs then he/she can select the songs simultaneously which he want at that moment.

add play next button it will add the song next in the queue

Add a "Play Next" button in your software.

This feature would make it easier to play a song immediately after the current one, especially when songs are already in the queue. At present, we have to do this manually for each song, which can be inconvenient.

Add a button in the menu you get when you press the three dots at the top right to:

• Add song to top of the queue

• Add song to bottom of the queue

Instead of the “Add to Queue” button we currently have. This would make it easier to quickly put songs in your queue in your desired order. Apple Music already has this feature!

It has been full 4 years since the last reply on this thread and sure enough Spotify has been stubborn to not add such a simple feature. Spotify did had a redesign and also changed up the design of the queue yet didn't bother to improve its functionality.

Atleast let us select multiple songs on the queue so we can be done with this dragging as soon as possible.

I encourage everyone who wants a feature like this to check out Spicetify. It’s a command line tool and it has a feature that enables you to ”play next”. And you can change back the queue to a separate middle panel! It’s quite something.

Is there an option to "add to beginning of queue" so that if I have a queue full of podcasts and all of a sudden I want to listen to a playlist I don't lose my queue of podcasts? I want to be able to drop the whole playlist in my queue so that it plays before my podcasts, and then when the playlist ends my podcasts are in the queue after.

I recently found a "play next" option on Spotify on my iPhone, but unfortunately, I think they just took it away.  You needed to add a song to your queue first, but then, after a song was added, there was a "play next" button within the "more options" menu for any subsequent song you would want to add to the queue.  My Spotify app seemed to update today, though, and unfortunately, there seems to be no more "play next" feature.  I don't know if it was just a temporary thing that Spotify was doing or if VoiceOver is skipping over the button, but I'm disappointed that it no longer seems to be there.  It was a really cool feature, especially when I would play Spotify in the car at work.
