RETURN THE LIKE BUTTON

I don't care if this has been submitted a hundred times over, you Spotify devs clearly need to hear it. You should *not* have to go through the effort of finding the "liked songs" playlist, just to add a song to Liked, when you have a ton of playlists. Playlists don't even sort like they used to, it seems almost random which playlists show first despite which ones I interacted with last - but that's not the issue here; it's just yet another downside of the problem at hand.

Please. Please. Please.

Bring back the **bleep** 'liked'/heart button on songs and albums. Having to add liked songs to my liked playlist manually just leads to me adding it to different playlists because it's so **bleep** tedious in the first place. I've been adding songs to playlists and then using the PC version to mass-add songs to Liked because you make it so inconvenient on mobile. This isn't user-friendly in the slightest.

Just, why? Why can't you just bring back the little heart? I thought the point of liked songs was to add songs then and there; not to have to stop in the street to add a song to a playlist because it now takes several seconds to do so. I've been paying for Premium since 2009, and now I'm wondering if you're worth the effort. Fire whoever told you it was a good idea to remove the Liked button, seriously. Fire yourselves for listening, too.

The "like" button surely won't come back. And maybe it is due to commercial reasons. Spotify may be pressured by big record companies that want us trapped in mainstream. So, to achieve that, users may need to have less control over what they listen to in the future. I have heard rumors of people into heavy metal (zero into pop) having Taylor Swift shoved in their faces, like they can't get away from her.

Having to put a song in "liked" then having to take it out and put it in the correct playlist drives me i n s a n e

They made the liked songs a playlist, and it's been garbage ever since. The longer it's like this, the more I consider cancelling my Spotify. Spotify can pay me to make bad UI decisions and save having to pay a whole team 🙄

AGREED.

BRING back LIKE button AND Create Similar Playlist.

We want to add songs to a playlist but NOT have them added to liked songs because - we may NOT like them! Is it so hard to understand?

Spotify now too big for the people and too cheap with the artists. Perhaps time to look elsewhere.

I’d like to request the ability to visibly see which songs I’ve liked inside the playlists I’ve created.

Currently, Spotify only shows the checkmark (✓) for liked songs in Spotify-created playlists, not in user-created playlists. This makes it difficult to quickly identify which songs I’ve already added to my Liked Songs when viewing my own playlists.

Adding this feature would:

-- Improve consistency across all playlists

-- Make it easier to manage and review liked tracks

-- Help users avoid duplicate adds

Thanks for taking the time to consider this!

I've debated cancelling my subscription over this.  I rarely use it anymore beyond looking at new releases.  It should be quick/simple to like/unlike a song.  Now, liking/unliking a song has gone from a single tap to several.

Hello everyone, I just figured out that they did a little update that we do not know about and did not let us know. Whenever you play a song always go to the album and like the album and then go to the artist and follow the artist. When you like the album, to the right of that it will allow you to like all songs. So nice of them to let us know. It sucks it isn't like it was because it was so much simpler and they always have to make things more complicated.

I'm sorry please disregard. That's the download button not like all songs. They still suck. The engineers the technicians they all suck they're stupid because they can't revert it back one little tiny thing makes no sense
