is there a 200-playlist limit? because I feel like I have more than 200 playlists and I'm still able to make more. other websites are also saying that there's no limit on the number of playlists you can make.

Yes, there is a limit. IT is true that you can make more than 200 but even though they are public, people can't find them unless they've got the specific link. I have over 3,000 lists (all Top 40 lists in Holland since 1965) and only the first 200 in my library van be found.

PLEASE. I made a post asking for this a while ago but got no traction. I need this limit gone so bad dear lord. It has no function, there is straight up 0 reason it needs to be in place, and it wouldn't be that hard to recode.

Yessss! This is probably top 3 most annoying features. I have 500 playlists and would like to make all of them public, come on Spotify, at least make it so we can display 1000 playlists. It’s not even that many.

The 200 playlist limit on the profile has been the most annoying issue with Spotify for me. I've been using Spotify for five years, and I've already created over 500 playlists. You can display only your 200 favorites on your profile, and if you create a new playlist that's good, you'll have to remove another playlist from your profile instead of adding it.

The profile page is also the first place I go to listen to my favorite music. Although the playlists increase day by day, it is extremely unreasonable that the number of playlists on the profile remains at 200 forever. The reason Spotify hasn't improved this problem is likely because there are relatively few heavy users who create more than 200 playlists. However, as Spotify users and the years of use increase, this problem will become more and more serious. Spotify should remove the 200 limit as soon as possible!

PLEASE. I use spotify as a journal and have been since high school. Now because of this, I have over 300 playlists, and if anyone is trying to go back and see my old playlists they can't 😞 makes me super sad, I want to keep doing this as I get older, but If no one can see the playlists I made as I reach even higher numbers, I may have to switch over to a different streaming platform like apple music, cause this is super important to me.

I just found out you can't have more than 200 playlists on your public profile. I went to look at mine and saw that my old playlists had been taken off and was confused. Don't see any reason why there would be a limit on your playlists, no other social media app has limitations like these, and isn't the whole point of spotify to find and share great music? 

Would love if you wouldn't have to get rid of old playlists on your profile to make new ones
