Removing items from Recently Played history

I would also like it if we had the option to remove our recently played history because sometimes I would listen to someone's playlist, an artist, or one of my own playlists by accident and I don't really listen to the playlist or artist anymore or I already have a song by that artist and it doesn't make sense to keep it in my library or recently played history.

It used to be a feature. They removed it years ago. Which kind of makes it
worse?

Can this option be brought back. This is not a new feature and it just bringing back the feature that was existing

You’d think with the new price increase they’d fix this for us. Since the increase is supposed to be for the consumers, right? I’m ready to move to Apple Music.

For the love of god, PLEASE allow us to remove items from Recently Played so that it doesn't affect the algo.
Because the Spotify Kids app is absolutely terrible (you can't play playlists on shuffle, searching is awful), I use my regular Spotify account to play music for my kids, but I DO NOT care for recommendations for new kids music for my personal account. Nor is it helpful to see that my top played song is Baby f'ing Shark.

Or really, please make a better Spotify Kids app.

Just want to add my comment that I hate that you can't delete your history. I was really close to ending my spotify premium family membership because I could not figure out how to get my kids their own account on their Alexa device. So for about the last year, my algorithms have been completely messed up. When I go on spotify all my lists are from video game soundtracks or bands with names like, The Toilet Bowl Cleaners. I finally got my kids their own spotify account on our family plan (not spotify kids because that doesn't work on the Alexa device) and now I want to clear out all the crappy kids music. There is no way to do that. I also can't really delete my account and start over because my account is the plan manager and if I delete the account, then nobody will have spotify premium for like two weeks until I can create another account with my email address. Please Please Please fix this problem!! I don't pay nearly $20/month so I can listen to songs about p00p!

I would like this to be a feature. My account got hacked and someone played a bunch of garbage music on my account and i cant remove it. I got access to my account back but cant clear out what's been listened too. Guess i just have to retrain my algorithm now. Somehow they made Katy perry my top artist in like 2 days. had to have just been looping it as well as other things **bleep**.

Why is this still an issue? been talking about it for 5 years and they still haven't done anything about it.

This vote thread was created as a dumping ground by forum moderators. They have zero intention of actually taking action and providing their paying customers with a highly desired feature. Time to have a serious conversation with the family about moving to another service. Vote with your wallet.
