Return expanded queue view (not only sidebar) for desktop as it was before and now on web

As mentioned in https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Mac/Cannot-expand-queue-section-on-Mac-desktop-application/... it would be great to return old and pretty standard view for queue (aka playing now). As having it very limited on sidebar is against existing UX

Give us the old queue back!

Write Spotify a message about this on facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/SpotifyCares/

Also, you can install an older version of spotify via https://spotify.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions

@Snyappy: Yes, you totally can cancel your Premium subscription any time you wish. I hope more and more people unsubscribe because of this so they understand the massive ****-up they are making by not listening to us.

Why are you so dense, Spotify? We do not give a flying **** if you intend to keep this: WE SIMPLY DO NOT WANT IT AND WE DECIDE WHAT STAYS AND WHAT GOES AWAY.

Return the queue view to the center and DO IT NOW.

Update: I was browsing the web player because I could still edit my queue... BUT THEY FU**ING MOVED IT TO THE RIGHT SIDE AS WELL. It's official, I'm telling everyone to stay away from Spotify now.

Seriously Spotify, please bring back the previous UI, or make an option to switch between the two for those who might like the new design. The thing that really makes Spotify desktop apps a great thing, in my opinion, is that I could quickly sort through the queue, add certain songs to playlists, and have a generally clutter free space -the new design makes a cluttered space, and the 'main pane (the middle part now, between the left Library and the tiny queue section)' is useless as nothing happens there once the song list scrolls off the bottom. It is just a cluttered mess now. Please fix it. Thank you

I messaged on Facebook as suggested above. Got a reply back that they have given the feedback to the relevant team, but no other information. Definitely worth messaging them just so they get more feedback in more ways. I think this bug will be the final issue to push me to find the effort to move all my playlists to another platform.

It is very odd that they would push this bug to the web player as well. I know you might think it is a feature and not a bug, but I defy anyone to tell me a sane reason that someone would put the static, unchanging panel in the middle, taking up most of the screen and then push the dynamic, changing panel to a small section on the right, that hides half the information and can't be made bigger. There is no reason I can think up.

It isn't even like the middle panel is being used for advertising or anything, since I have it open on the playlist I am listening to, and therefore it has no extra information to advertise to me.

Agreed with everyone above. The new layout is terrible. Now I can no longer see what's in the queue and see artist info. I have to toggle back and forth in a really tight space. Usability testing much, Spotify?

"Reiterating my comment from another forum post to express my dissatisfaction with the current situation.
I will repeat this message until I receive a response from Spotify staff or my patience runs out, and I will find another platform to listen to music on."

"like" how Spotify organizes their application.

Choosing to replace the like feature with some kind of plus and then sorting songs by playlists has never been so annoying.
In large playlists, a few songs play on repeat while others go unheard for months, also a "great" feature.
And of course, the revamped queue view. My last straw.

"Thank you, Spotify."
I hope something will be done for the better, otherwise, unfortunately, I will have to say goodbye.

Unsatisfied user.

Please bring this back. I've been using Spotify for almost 15 years and the current queue is so useless that I'm seriously considering switching to other services.

I can't believe you have actually expanded the your library redesign. Spotify designers and developers must be on crack or something, nothing makes sense. I am done with this circus, after 10+ years of premium subscription and Spotify ignoring every piece of feedback it's time to move over to Tidal.

So much useful functionality lost from the queue now. Cannot remove an item from the queue. Cannot see which songs are already in a playlist. And cannot see which songs have been added by Smart Shuffle. Please return the queue to how it worked in the middle of the screen.
