[Playstation] Last.fm Support (Scrobbling)

Thanks for the Playstation app!!

I wanted to get this feature request in the door as soon as I saw the note that Last.fm integration (i.e. scrobbling) is not supported. Is this on the feature roadmap?  (Is there a feature roadmap for the Playstation app?)  Thanks!

Hey folks,

Sorry for the delay on this one.

As @hans-jürgen has mentioned, scrobbling is now works when you play tracks on Playstation.

You can check out the Last.FM update here.

Thanks!

Almost two and a half years later and still no scrobbling support 😞

Satanforaday
https://spotifyscrobbler.com/ is the only thing that i have found that
works. I it is amazing, but i do agree, why i do I have to go to a 3-rd
party to fix this issue...

@Satanforaday it works however there is a major bug that sometimes leaves a song scrobbling all day from for some reason.  It only happens if you are in the middle of listening to a song and turn off Spotify before finishing it.

Hey @Snorfle I've revisited this idea with the team behind our PS3/PS4 support. Right now we don't have plans to build integration with Last.fm. Of course this idea will remain open for your comments and feedback, and we'll continue to relay it to the right teams. Thanks!

Please you guys, add this, I am using my PS4 for listening to music, but without last.fm integration it's not the same :(.

https://spotifyscrobbler.com/ is not available anymore, check https://strack.liste.nz/ or the beta version https://liste.nz/

This is nuts, the Spotify phone app knows what you’re listening to, how hard is it to transmit that data to last.fm from the phone like normal, regardless of where Spotify Connect is playing????  I get that you’d have to have the Spotify app open on your phone (or desktop) for it to work that way but, I mean, I’d be fine with that, I think we all would.

What gives??

There is a new Spotify scrobbling method by Last.fm including all Spotify Connect devices which is available as a public Beta version now and can be enabled in your Applications settings. This also means that you do not need the internal scrobbling option in Spotify apps or external browser extensions for the Spotify web player anymore. See my posting here:
