SoundRound

This is for venues such as bars where they vote on music played each "round", hence sound round.

Each table and sitting area has a tablet with a voting system—a QR code could also be used if the customer is happy to download an app.

The voting system is for music (like a junk box) and could be for specific songs, artists' sub-genres, or even genres.

One example could be sub-genres, e.g. rock/metal: Hard rock, Indie rock, Nu-Metal, heavy metal, pop-punk, grunge, etc.  The patrons in the venue are prompted for the vote on the tablet/app.  The percentage vote dictates the music plays, e.g. 100% = 10 songs.  If 67% of patrons vote for indie-rock, then 7/10 songs will be indie-rock; if 10% vote for Hard rock, then 1/10 songs are hard rock.  This model can easily be adapted.  The venue has a fun, interactive hook for people to come in and return, and they understand the demographics of the patrons' desire for music.  All in all, it is a money-maker for the venue.  Monthly/annual subscriptions to the service working with a partner who can provide the hardware (tablets) in each geography.

The system can also be used to order and pay for food and drink, so the venue could be convinced to get it for that reason as the hook.

I would love for this to be a familiar concept in bars and venues.

Happy to go into more detail.
