Stop when losing signal - Or back button for podcasts

I’m an app developer. Right now, when listening to a podcast on Spotify, if signal is lost the app auto-switches to another show. This creates a terrible user experience.

Example: on the subway, I lose signal for 10–20 seconds. Spotify switches me to something else. When signal returns, I have to manually find and restart my original podcast. This can happen multiple times in a short trip.

I also live in a building where the elevator cuts signal every time I come or go. That means I’m auto-switched every single time I enter or leave my home, and then have to track down my podcast again.

At minimum, add a “Back” button to return to the interrupted podcast. Ideally, let users disable auto-switching or prompt with “Signal lost — listen to something else?” instead of forcing the change.
