Subcategories in your playlist

if you like a certain type of music for instance rock, you can add all of your songs to your “Rock” playlist. if you’re not feeling certain songs and want to listen to a certain type of rock you can add a Subcategory or Subfile within the “rock playlist” as ‘hard rock’ or ‘80’s rock’ and only listen to that type of rock without creating multiple playlists of rock. Or if you liked your music from a certain year you could name the playlist “2024” and add the subcategories of songs you listened to and liked that year. some subfiles could be ‘sad songs’, ‘rap’, etc. that way you don’t have an overwhelming amount of playlists to que up.

Spotify has a wonderful feature: "Playlist Folders". It's still available on Desktop and it's great for sorting all your playlists into genres BUT for some incomprehensible reason they have at some point removed the ability to play the whole folder in the Mobile app.

Do check this feature out on Desktop! It's even possible to make subfolders (for instance: Folder: Classics>Subfolder: Rock>Playlist: Soft Rock).

Hi, it would be cool, if users could add dividers to divide single playlist into multiple parts. To divide playlist for example into parts of the day, or maybe create playlist for genre era, like me and divide them by year of release. The years in the attached example do not match, it is just an example.
