So my idea is that Spotify should add a lyric translation to songs. For example I listen to greek music and the writing all in greek I think that Spotify should have an option to translate the songs (English) so I can read and understand the songs. I think this would be useful people who also lyrics to Spanish would want lyrics translated to understand the song. Basically idea is to translate the song into the language you know and understand the words in song. Like this if you agree and think it’s smart!

Atualmente o Spotify tem a opção de visualizar as letras das músicas. Gostaria de sugerir que houvesse algum campo de tradução dessa letra, algo como "tradução sugerida", como a tradução seria somente de uma língua para outra, poderia estar em alguma parte não exatamente fiel a letra, por isso o "sugerida" na opção.
Lhes dou esta sugestão pois em alguns momentos que estou escutando música, sinto vontade de saber a tradução daquela letra, e para isso preciso recorrer ao Google, os sites de letras de música. Se tivesse essa opção na plataforma seria um facilitador, na minha opinião

I’ve been using Spotify for a long time. Music has been with me through every mood and every phase. Sometimes the melody is enough, but often I find myself wondering, “What are they really saying?”

Seeing the lyrics in the app is great, but I often wish I could also see a Turkish translation. Just understanding one line clearly can bring a strange kind of comfort sometimes.

It may seem like a small feature, but it would help us connect more deeply with the music and understand the emotions behind the words better—especially with foreign songs.

Merhaba Spotify,

Uzun zamandır Spotify kullanıyorum, her ruh halime, her dönemime eşlik etti müzikler. Bazen bir şarkının melodisi yetiyor, ama çoğu zaman "ne anlatıyor acaba" diye sözlerine bakıyorum.

Şarkı sözlerini uygulamada görmek güzel ama çoğu zaman anlamlarını da merak ediyorum. Keşke şarkı sözlerinin yanında ya da altında Türkçe çeviri de olsa. Bazen sadece bir cümleyi anlayabilmek bile insanın içini rahatlatıyor.

Küçük gibi görünse de böyle bir özellik, hem müziği daha derinden hissetmemizi sağlar hem de yabancı şarkılara daha çok bağlanmamıza yardımcı olur.

Bunu sizin dikkate alacağınızı umuyorum.

Currently I see Many Tamil songs with lyrics in English. I suspect this is through AI. It completely gets the words wrong  And it Is frustrating to follow these. prior to AI, there were some English words lyric translations for the Tamil songs, which were much better. Please have all Tamil songs lyrics translated into Tamil words or into  non AI ‘properly translated ‘ English Words.

Hola mi propuesta seria la de reincorporar el boton de subtitulos. Durante bastante tiempo utilice la aplicacion de Spotify para practicar el idioma Ingles ya que me resultaba una herramienta de mucho valor, por la forma en que me ayudo a incorporar nuevo vocabulario, ya que prestaba mucha atención a canciones que realmente me gustan en ese idioma. The app's built-in lyrics feature is good, but it would be better if you could also access a translation in your native language. For example, if you were to see a Japanese song, you could see the English translation. This doesn't affect the lyrics function; rather, you could see both at the same time while the music continues playing. That is, the original lyrics as they are currently displayed, with the translation below each sentence. Or, in any case, a feature that would allow you to translate the lyrics directly in Spotify without having to resort to another platform or site.

My first time to the community’; lyrics translation was going to be my post…looks like I’m not the only one. Such lovely songs that I would love to learn the context by understanding the lyrics. This is a long needed feature! Thx

I once got advice to learn a language by comparing Spanish lyrics side-by-side with english. To have translation for understanding context is meaningful to people as well, but as a language learning tool that’s most appealing, I think the lyrics must be synced with the song, as they are now, and directly under they’re counterpart.

even if not synced, to have full lyrics available to display side-by-side within the app would add immense value. (maybe easier to implement unsynced, at first)

I think this will create the most jobs, for translators to ensure accurate cultural reference, and the most valuable service, as language learning starts with songs and associating rhythms/patterns with words, but sadly the meaning of the word is lost due to a lack of visual association. Therefore, timely english (etc.) counterpart is crucial.

 eventually to have spotify-currated channels to offer audible synced-translation would be good, for those at work, driving, cooking, etc. it will make the song less enjoyable with the pauses but i’m sure people will enjoy the original song more once they learn, very quickly, exactly what each line means.

(take first example and have pause in song with someone singing line in english etc)

So far, I can select just a few lines of lyrics. I know that the translation is one idea, but I actually want to be able to share the whole lyrics if that is what I want to.

Bad bunny was one of the most listened to artist. I don’t understand Spanish but love his music, how cool would it be if the lyrics were translated to English automatically? I’d pick up a few Spanish words like this and engage more with the app.
