[Your Library] [Filter] Add an option to sort/view music by BMP

Hello!

A useful feature for the people that go out running would be an option to view and sort/search  music based on beats per minute (BMP), either in "My Music" or overall in Spotify.

I am aware that there are different public Playlists based on bpm, but i'm still feeling a lack of possibility to view/sort music that i personally prefer by bmp.
What do you guys think?

Thanks!

First and foremost, I would like to express my appreciation for the Daily Mix playlists you curate. They are a brilliant reflection of individual listening tastes and are a testament to the incredible work your team does. Each playlist is a work of art that brings immense joy to music lovers like myself.

I have a suggestion that I believe could enhance the user experience even further. It would be fantastic if the tracks in the Daily Mix playlists could be arranged according to their BPM (beats per minute). This would ensure a smoother and more cohesive flow between songs, creating an even more immersive and enjoyable listening experience.
I look forward to seeing how Spotify continues to innovate.

I'd like to be able to sort songs by BPM, so that I can set up a playlist ordered by BPM

If you're still interested, you can add a BPM column to the Spotify web player using the Bpmify chrome extension.

It would be cool to have it as a slider so we can choose a lowest and highest BPM range we want included.

It's been four years... safe to assume this feature is never going to happen?

Hello! I have over 3000 songs in my "liked songs" and I like shuffle-playing them as I work and also when I work out. The thing is, there's everything in there from punk rock, to classical music, to hip hop, to movie soundtracks.

I'd love to have a feature that allows me to select how many beats per minute I'm looking for in my shuffle so it can match whether I want something fast, slow, etc.

I'd find this a much better way to "categorize" my own music than "moods" that can be super subjective. If I could choose say 120 I'd get songs that more or less match in terms of speed regardless of their genre.

I’ve noticed Spotify have added a ‘sort’ option to playlists and I think it’d be great to be able to sort by BPM. I’m a big runner currently training for a marathon, and on longer runs I like to listen to a bit variety of music. Usually prefer more chilled, pop focused tracks at the start but find myself needing extra drive from more upbeat, heavy, house music in the later stages. It’d be great to be able to sort playlists to allow for this kind of progression, rather than having to have separate playlists for separate moods.

We could sort the songs in a playlist (our playlist not the ones made by Spotify) by BPM; it would help choose the music according to the mood of the place or the moment. It was scientifically proven that BPM influences our mood !
