[Your Library] Order/sort albums by release date/year

Now that the original release year should be available please add an option to the new album view to use it for sorting.

there could be options for at least:

"SORTED BY ARTIST / YEAR"

"SORTED BY ARTIST / TITLE"

"SORTED BY YEAR"

There could be some kind of subtle separator where the artist changes when listing the album covers. Also the release year should be shown in the album images.

When selecting 'Albums' in the library, and sorting by creator (the most intuitive way of finding an artist/ album you've saved), multiple albums saved by one artist are displayed in a seemingly random order (e.g., Abbey Road > Help > Let It Be > With The Beatles). As the release date data is already attached to each album, it would be more intuitive to sort albums by one creator by release date (e.g., With The Beatles > Help > Abbey Road > Let It Be).

And yet in another suggestion for this, you refer us to this thread where you tell us - nah, not doing that. Sort function isn't that complicated for developers evidenced by the fact that you can sort podcasts newest to oldest and vice versa - maybe you can use that extra cash from premium to invest in this? Or is your data in the background so poor that you can't identify the release year?

I came here just to mention that I already moved from Spotify to Apple Music. The sad truth is that Spotify is not for music enthusiasts. It is for people that are more into podcasts and playlists. Music enthusiasts care for better ways of cataloging their albums, and also about sound quality. You get this in Apple Music. It's just pathetic that Spotify can't implement a simple way of sorting the albums even so this has been asked here for many years. This is just terrible product design.

TIDAL offers this as an option, which is one of my favorite things about their platform. Spotify has a much larger library however, so I could never switch.

Almost 10 years later, and Spotify still has not made this easy, useful upgrade, instead making loads of other cosmetic and barely functional changes.  
My work-around now is not to bother saving albums, instead creating a Playlist for each Album I want in my library, named  "Artist-Year-Album"
