[Your Library] Search within all Playlists

Often, I'd like to find a song within one of my saved playlists.  I have a few playlists with over a thousand songs and this becomes difficult.  If I really want to listen to a certain song, I end up doing a general search, but then I have to go back to my playlist to continue listening there.  I'd like to be able to search within a playlist and then continue listening from that playlist.

Straight bananas that there's no way to do it. I have A LOT of playlist and many of them are very large. Often I want to see which one I put a certain track on, or see if it's already on a different playlist. Searching each playlist one at a time is way too tedious, so I just don't.

1. create a feature that allows users to search a song and see if that song is in any of their playlists.
2. I have hundreds of playlists and it is hard to find them and filter through them if I can’t remember the name of them.
3. if you know a specific song on the playlist it would make it easier to find them.
4. It could be a feature similar to the one where you search an artist and see the songs that you have liked.

Why can't we simply have a library of our own like we used to have? A catalogue of every song we have liked, or have in a playlist. This would make so much sense, since we must appreciate all those songs, why not have them all in one location?
I find myself creating "bulk playlists" where I drag multiple playlists in together, just so I can play "it all" instead of having to pick one playlist. I can then search the bulk playlist to find songs of which I'm unsure of their location (which playlist they're in).

We are now 12 years further since the first request for this pretty basic tool. I have more than a thousand playlists with thousands of songs. Sometimes I want to create a new playlist out of all the playlists by just searching for a word of name. But this is not possible because I cannot search in my own playlists. Isn't that weird? That I create a CD-collection but cannot search in my own CD-catalogue?

I'm just running into this now where I'm in "Your Library" on my account and trying to search for a song or band and for some odd reason, nothing comes up. I know I saved the song but I wasn't at the time following the band, and nothing would show. So I had to go through all of my play lists to search individually for the song... 

There should be a function that searches across playlists, seems simple, like the overall search. Kind of surprised this isn't a basic function....

Come on Spotify this is ridiculous!

I want to be able to quickly find out if I can remove a song from one playlist because I've covered the fact that I've got it in another playlist.

This is super-duper dumb. Why can't I limit searches to music in "Your Library"?

I was looking for a particular song with a common title but couldn't recall the artist. Spotify returned a bazillion more popular songs of the same title. I searched the internet for bits of lyrics until I found the artist. Had I not recalled the lyrics, I would never have found it.

At that point, I easily found the song on Spotify, marked with the check indicating I'd saved it to a playlist! If only I could search across all my playlists. Or, if you're committed to making the UI as toddler-friendly as possible, maybe you could prioritize items from my library in the search results?

I wasted 15 minutes trying to find a song I saved when I knew the title! This cannot be explained away.

Any update on this? This still not being possible really sucks. I'd love to be able to search all my playlists at once to see if a certain song is in them.
