Playlist Library Shuffle

hi 🙂

i just finished product management course - hence the wording :))

(i used gemini to re-write the idea and problem)

1. The Problem

Users with large playlist libraries (100+) suffer from "recency bias."

They primarily interact with playlists at the top of their list (usually the newest), while older, high-quality playlists become "lost" further down. This means users are not engaging with their own content, and they miss out on rediscovering "gems" they've saved, leading to a less satisfying listening experience.

2. The Solution

Introduce a "Library Shuffle" feature.

This would be a single-tap button or a sorting option (next to "Recents," "Alphabetical," etc.) that instantly randomizes the order of the user's entire playlist list.

Each time the user activates it, their library view is refreshed, surfacing different playlists to the top. This encourages exploration, drives rediscovery of old favorites, and prompts users to clean up or merge playlists they haven't seen in a while.
