- On the current Spotify interface (on the iOS), the Now Playing face template allows one to swipe up anywhere on the screen to scroll up to the live lyrics area. While this is nice, the gesture as implemented interferes with the playback position / seek interface for the song currently playing and it results in a jerky experience which is quite annoying. A simple re-designation of the region on the Now Playing screen which blocks out vertical touch responses on the horizontally-advancing playback position / seek interface will result in a significantly enhanced user experience that Spotify ought to exploit.
